Curry Ono (Brixton)

• The second time with mid week luncheon discount
• I'm normally a huge fan of Japanese food and I had high hopes for Curry Ono (Brixton) but it was very disappointing
• The takoyaki too full of oil and the curry was nothing special
• The chicken teriyaki was the only thing actually tasty
• The main issue though with Curry Ono (Brixton) was the staff
• The service was slow and we got the two starters one after finishing the other and then waiting again and finally we got served our mains
• That most customers were leaving (it was 9.53) so I though they were about to close soon
• Since my boyfriend had not finished his food yet it took another 5 10 minutes till we were done during which time they had cleared out the tables
• The waitress went out of the shop and was chatting with another person and the cook had taken hold of a mop and stood there staring at us looking annoyed
• At that point we had both finished our food but the waitress was still gone and when she returned she started putting away the outside chairs ignoring us
• The other guy with the mop still staring aggressively
• The atmosphere was so unwelcoming
• Especially since they took ages to make the food but still obviously wanted us out quickly and the food was totally average
