Wild Caper (Brixton)

• Meatballs in tomato sauce were really nice as well as the cheese filo pastry
• We sneaked a look in the kitchen and there were moulds of 'here are some we prepared earlier' poached eggs stacked up in the fridge
• 10 minutes down the road to me is Brixton Village and Market Row
• We kicked off with a couple of Meantimes which went down a treat
• Was truly one of the best starters I&rsquo
• Green and herby in the middle with lots of parsley and dill
• The yoghurt was just spicy enough and the ideal accompaniment
• Lamb cutlets were well flavoured and juicy
• Tangy tomatoes and the bread was perfect for scooping up the remaining taramasalata &ndash
• The actual menu is all about Mediterranean mezzes and small plates
• The completely wrong dish was brought out for me
• Charged the price of the second dish (which was more expensive than my actual order)
• A few other things had happened throughout the meal such as one waitress trying to take away my coffee when I was not finished)
• The least I expect is to see the amount that has been put into the machine or to be given a receipt so I know what I am paying
• Then it was topped with cold tomato chunks and cold mozzarella
