Tombo Poke Matcha Bar (Soho)

• Matcha Bar is also a great addition to London's growing matcha scene
• Matcha Bar is the smaller sister sister cafe to the Tombo Cafe in South Kensington
• My love of matcha is well documented and I can&rsquo
• The two floor cafe is bright and uplifting with super friendly staff and decent air con &ndash
• All combined in an easy to eat bowl apparently bowls are the new plates
• It fills that middle ground between the previous 'make your own' options where your choices were generally limited to salad bowls (think Chop'd or Vital Ingredient)
• Sahimi and crispy shallots with a ponzu soy on the side
• This review comes with extreme bias
• I was born in Hawaii (where poke is from) and the poke here is something different entirely
• Often imparted with more flavor before being served
• The amount of fish given in a bowl is borderline stingy
• Though the poke itself is certainly below the standard of what I am used to
• The sauce here was delectable and the chunks of chicken tasted of quality
• I tried this latest outpost of the Tombo success story and was whisked away into a dazzling Hello Kitty pop up world
• Hello Kitty is popping up until 8th October for those keen to indulged their open/well known or secret Hello Kitty love affair
• Tombo Fitzrovia is clearly bang on trend and leading the pack with its new opening
• Combines Salmon or Tuna with Sesame Soy (gluten free)
• Those who follow a vegan diet or prefer to eat meat there is the Tombo&rsquo
• The courgette noodles are textural sound with a satisfying crunch and a healthy alternative base ingredient
• The tuna and salmon sashimi we tried was of the highest quality
• How can you not smile when presented with delicate blooms in your plate
• It even came with a souvenir Hello Kitty sauce pot to keep
• The vegetable were crisp and fresh
• I was duly presented with a Hello Kitty Matcha Latte Hot
• Rather delicious and Kitty was smiling back at me
