  • I think we were lucky to get the seat as the place was quite busy

  • The first thing we spied were the large glasses of what we thought was Vodka and tonic

  • They have a huge variation on Gins with different flavours

  • We opted for Haymand with White pepper and another with Cucumber (Hendricks)

  • We should have really had wine to start with but we didn't

  • The cheeses were fab as well as the jamon

  • Hazelnut and turbot tempura with olive mayonnaise

  • Copita (Soho) is a bit of a find

  • I came here with a friend for dinner during the week

  • We started with a gin and tonic

  • Ginger/chilli' which was absolutely delicious

  • T I've ever had with slices of fresh chilli and ginger in it

  • Basil' which was lovely too

  • A ham hock dish with cabbage and capers

  • The ham fell away in beautiful pieces and was so beautifully seasoned

  • We chose the churros with chocolate and went with the sweet red dessert wine that was recommended

  • The service was excellent all night and there was a really nice buzz to the place

  • If I'm ever faced with that childish desert island conundrum of 'if you only had to eat one type of food

  • It's an extremely hidden restaurant which doesn't help itself with its inconspicuous facade that gives nothing away when walking past

  • The moment i arrived i was quickly left in the capable hands of the staff who after helping to secure my a table outside

  • Chorizo de bellota (acorn fed) was thinly sliced

  • All this beautiful soft meat with a lingering smokiness and flavour which literally keeps you salivating will set you back £

  • I'm always terribly let down by Spanish Croquettes stuffed with cheese and ham but here

  • Perhaps the one slight let down of the meal was this smoked ham and smoked paprika dish

  • The paprika helping was very enthusiastic and really got at the back of my throat with its choking heat

  • The vegetable mash on the other hand was lovely and smooth

  • My favourite dishes were the huge prawns and the wonderful lamb

  • To start the evening off whilst we waited for our friends we tucked into an amazing cheeseboard with a serving of yummy honey

  • The wine list here is pretty extensive with some fabulous wines available at around £

  • Smoked anchovies and pork crackling are another must order

  • My all time favourite is the octopus

  • Pork jowl and lentils stew is warm and comforting

  • The only dish so far that I have tried that I wasn't too keen on was the squash with duck yolk

  • The rest of the menu is filled with tasty dishes

  • I have fallen in love with their laid back

  • Cuttlefish croquettes with aioli Running with the laid back theme of the food

  • We followed up with yet more seafood ordering tiger prawns and an octopus dish

  • The octopus was lovely and meaty and perfectly grilled and the creamy bed of potatoes was perfect for mopping up with their lovely rustic bread

  • Make sure you order bread as there are loads of lovely juices in the dishes for it to be dipped in

  • As was also the case with the absolutely enormous prawns

  • These are served whole and you'll have to get stuck in with your hands to extract all the juicy meaty flesh inside

  • I got through an awful lot of napkins but it was totally worth the effort

  • Grilled octopus and tiger prawns with chilli and garlic butter Aft

  • This one is the Michelin recommended restaurant and our initial plan was to go to an Italian restaurant

  • Food came out pretty average with not so big portion

  • I know it's tapas and they are not suppose to be big

  • The restaurant is dimly lit with bulbs and has sufficient natural light coming in from the main entrance window panes

  • That was fine as all dishes were really good

  • Looked really beautiful as you can see in the picture with the bright yellow yolk

  • The truffled goats cheese was just perfect

  • The chilli garlic butter lit up the prawns and we managed to scrape clean the plate with our fingers

  • It's not particularly a place you would bring clients for lunch meetings but it's definitely a good spot to catch up with former colleagues over no shop talk dates

  • It's like a former colleague you got along with when you worked together you may not see them as much and you may have found new buddies at work

  • An inconspicuous and small place with wooden cottage feel about the place

  • You walk in and met with a light buzz of chitter chatter in the air

  • You see food in Copita (Soho) is about sharing

  • Delicate and beautiful dishes are served promptly and with a smile

  • A lot of love has gone into their food and I wasn't disappointed with any of them

  • With very reasonable prices it is certainly worth checking out

  • Spanish tapas is a well established cuisine in the UK

  • The imported knowledge from these trips makes us familiar with old favourites like pollo ajillo and patatas bravas

  • Reliable Soho favourite with an ever changing menu of tasty tapas

  • We headed over after the man holding the fort at Flat Iron told us there was a two hour wait for steak &ndash

  • One of the best tapas bars in London

  • Copita is an authentic tapas bar with a great variety of dishes at a reasonable price

  • The place is very cozy with super friendly staff

  • I must say they are one of the best croquetas I've ever tried

  • Beef onglet was served with rosemary onion &ndash

  • Copita is an informal tapas bar with an interesting menu full of cleaver food ideas

  • When I eat Spanish food I love having some kind of Mediterranean salad with my food but unfortunately that was not an option

  • The service was very friendly but not up to the detail
