Aji Zen Canteen (South Bank)

• Ate at Aji Zen Canteen with family and a friend it was a big hit with all
• The food was very very good with perfect portion sizes
• The ambience is good with very friendly staff
• Only a couple of problems was a bit difficult to find initially as there are currently building works going on
• Would not recommend the desserts as they were not as good as the food itself
• A great place with fantastic food and ambience would highly recommend
• You get your first impression it is nothing but a small restaurant
• You get the feeling you are in a different country
• I ordered chicken shio ramen a kind of soup with chicken inside
• What I particularly like about the Aji Zen is the speed that the food is made they are quite quick which encourages you to try and order more
• The food here is excellent and the sushi here is my absolute favorite
• The downside of the entire meal was the smallness of the portions
• The sushi was served with a very little portion of wasabi and thus we had to ask for more
• The ambiance is pleasant with cafeteria style benches
• The washrooms are also of a decent standard
• That has changed now and the place is nothing but a disappointment
• Aji Zen Canteen (South Bank) is extremely inviting in ambience and feel and you will definitely have a good time around here

• What is most fascinating is the little effort taken by the management to arrange for hot plates on everyone's tables to keep the food warm

• The waiters at Aji Zen Canteen (South Bank) are hard to find once the food is served on our tables
• The meal was fairly decent and every dish we ordered was declared "

• Aji Zen Canteen (South Bank) is located at a primary location and thus they can pull good crowds
• The service in fact is quite good and efficient
• All in all it was just an okay experience
• The noodles were absolutely brilliant and the best I have ever tasted so far
• This one is a welcome beak from other Japanese outlets and is much better than most of them
• I am highly impressed with Aji Zen Canteen (South Bank) and would love to come back here again for a meal
• They've tried to spruce it up with Japanese decorations but when you can see the air vents running across the ceiling and the yellow painted walls doesn't really give it a proper restaurant feel
• The portion was a reasonable size but looking at the menu I think prices are quite expensive
