Timberyard (Covent Garden)

• The place is light with huge windows and minimalist dé
• I opted to enjoy the great outdoors and shared a bench with some fellow coffee hunters
• The coffee is velvety and delicious
• It's a great escape with a chilled vibe and independent produce
• We struggled to get a seat on this Sunday afternoon but even so it was a great atmosphere and we didn't feel rushed to finish our coffee and leave
• That said our coffee was not the best a bit on the sour side
• The raspberry chocolate brownie was to die for delicious
• Timberyard might be just on that thin line most of the people either come for a takeaway or to study/work so there is a kind of a social contract around the atmosphere
• Where you can plan meetings ahead and book with your requirements so that a client presentation or pitch might just be proper and fun outside the office without any hassle
• One of the best cafes in town
• It has a friendly and fun atmosphere with a great selection of sandwiches
• They also serve one of the best salmon sandwiches
• When you want work or simply chill with some buddies
• There are comfortable couches and chairs along with big meeting tables where a team of 7 10 can fit
• I ordered a tomato minestrone soup which comes with a focaccia bread
• Timberyard is particularly good if you're a student or freelancer
• What did it for me was when I accidentally spilt my coffee around my saucer and looked around desperately for a napkin
• Timberyard is a cute little (until you see the downstairs) coffee shop with a stress free
• The walls double as an art gallery with details and prices of the mounted photographs
• They redeemed themselves with an excellent latte
• Everyone there was on their phone or laptop
• ) the staff was very enthusiastic but the costumers are very meek
• The only problem I had was the seating
• So everyone's bag was taking over the seats
• I've been told is great but always packed with students and their macbooks
• My friend and I went here for a cup of coffee post lunch one day and after placing our order went to sit downstairs (the lovely part is they bring the coffee to your table)
• Drinks came but I found it was not piping hot
• I mentioned this to my friend and she told me that it was not the first time this happened
• A place to catch up with friends or work you'll find lots of people there with their laptops and notebooksZ
• Impressive view for drinks with people we secretly hate and want to let them see how amazing we&rsquo
• An anti social retreat to a place with WiFi and sockets
• Including a mouthwatering lineup of crodoughs (the best of a croissant and doughnut)
• Matcha lattes that are by far among the best in London&hellip
• Cosy and comfortable with an overwhelming amount if delicious cakes
• The coffee is superb and the friendly service is enough to bring me back
• I think cro doughs are a little overrated but worth trying
• This spot is packed with people on laptops
• There is a huge downstairs area with a cool creative vibe and good wifi
• The food and drinks are perfect for the 'work' environment
• They have some semi heathy treats but would only say the date balls are reliably so not a cheap spot either
• The only problem with Timberyard (Covent Garden)is it tends to get really crowded and so its hard to find a spot but I loved their coffee (Tried the cappuccino)
• I heard their match lattes are good so they're on the list for me when I go there next
• I went here with a friend for a revision session during exam time
• The seating downstairs has music and is mostly comprised of students studying in groups or individually
• All their food is fresh with both healthy/dessert options
• I just think it is slighty pricey but it makes it worthwile considering the cosy setting and good ambience
• Example the hot cocoa portion was quite small for its price
• Loads of people with laptop and place is a bit crowded
• The nice tall bottle of water that is served with the coffee along with that board to carry it all
• The only downside is that for all these reasons and perhaps the location Timberyard (Covent Garden) is always packed
• The coffee is served in a wooden board with complimentary bottle of water
• I remember my very first encounter with Timberyard Coffee a couple years back
• I was hanging out with a couple of my friends around Covent Garden
