  • Being Mexican food people may think its really spicy however Cantina Laredo (Covent Garden) is not that bad

  • The service is good and presentation of food on plate brilliant too

  • We have already recommend Cantina Laredo (Covent Garden) to our friends who are visiting London and we recommend you do too

  • I believe the Cantina Laredo is over priced and over rated

  • The place looks great but the food is too expensive and the quantities very small

  • It is a nice experience and the staff is very skilled

  • The drinks are delicious but also very expensive

  • I personally had a salad and there was nothing special to it

  • The atmosphere was also very quiet when we were there

  • The food is not bed but the portion are really small and for a big price

  • If you have with u a baby is not the right place

  • The people is looking you like an alien

  • I really enjoyed the top shelf guacamole with tortillas chips

  • Really goes well with margaritas

  • Cantina Laredo is a Mexican offering something a little different

  • Round dish and is basically a warm and more flavoursome/authentic sour cream

  • Any coeliac can dine with peace of mind

  • As gluten free dishes are considered a totally different entity

  • It is possible to find something that is not dairy laced

  • Torn chicken and topped with a chocolatey

  • Smooth poblano sauce was small but very satisfying

  • We ordered some guac and nachos to chomp on while we perused the rest of the menu and much to everyone's delight our waiter arrived with a trolley complete with bowls

  • The food we had was uninspiring and lacking anything in the way of interesting seasoning

  • We shared a mixed grill and some frijoles and agreed a 2.5 was about fair

  • He claims puts the place in second best Mexican in London for him

  • After declining numerous attempts by our waiter to line up tequila slammers we were served the bill

  • This restaurant is ok but there's plenty of great Mexican restaurants in London

  • With a wahaca around the corner which is a fraction of the price for better flavours

  • Catina Laredo is one of the gourmet Mexican restaurants located in London

  • The atmosphere is quite warm and the staff is pleasant as well

  • My recommended here are the Quesadillas and the chicken and beef Fajitas

  • The Rib eye is also quite nice

  • The show stealer at Cantina Laredo (Covent Garden) is the Freshly made guacamole

  • It is by far the best and the most fresh guacamole I have ever had

  • The waitress comes with a tray full of ingredients and prepares the guacamole right in front of you

  • Mexican is usually filling anyway so we were sure to have a decent meal out of it

  • I like me a good tortilla chip and I'm glad these were served warm

  • They were on the thin and crunchy side which is definitely a plus

  • The salsas dela casa were a bit bland

  • The roasted tomatillo salsa wasn't served warm as stated on the menu and was a bit underwhelming

  • The server said this was meant to be spicy

  • Enchiladas were served with 'a portion of rice' and salad

  • Each plate glistened with respective sauces and garnish

  • Scallops and fish tasted quite nice so it was a bit of a shame that there wasn't much of it

  • I wasn't hungry when we started the meal but after having our enchiladas and stuffing ourselves silly with some tortilla chips I was left wanting more

  • Topped with tomatillo salsa verde with marinated veracruz vegetables &

  • The chicken was marinated very well

  • Tortilla chips Freshly mashed avacado right in front of you with chopped tomatoes &

  • Onions makes a perfect dip with the tortilla chips

  • Chicken Fajitas The idea was to capture all these delicacies in one frame &

  • 'Chicken Fajitas' is a make your own taco dish

  • These chicken fajitas were really awesome &

  • Burrito Vegetarianos Burrito Vegetarianos is a vegetarian food flavor explosion

  • It is made of flour tortilla with courgettes

  • Famous mexican black beans and topped with lots of beautiful chile de arbol sauce

  • Their Casa Rita Margaritas are oh so fabulous

  • Perfect place to catch up with your friends or family over good food &

  • These were okay like the food but I feel that it was a bit pricey and I probably for this reason wouldn't go back

  • The tortillas are freshly made and very filling careful on that

  • The margaritas are amazing and highly recommend

  • The ribs were literally finger licking good and the brownie was absolute heaven

  • The chocolate brownie is definitely worth trying as their brownie is served on top of hot sizzling pan with caramelised sauce

  • Overall the food was a little bland and expensive for what it is

  • We didn't have any as it was a bank holiday and fishermen were off

  • We started with guacamole that was prepared at our table

  • Meat skewers were spicy and hot

  • The mushroom quesadillas came with a spicy sauce and the blend was perfection

  • Grilled baby chicken was our main course

  • Black beans are my favorite and they made a perfect side for the chicken

  • We left the restaurant full but were searching for the closest fire hydrant

  • The chicken quesadillas were a bit of a let down but the tortilla chips

  • They ordered again and both Sonia and Amanda were incredibly patient with us

  • It's safe to say that the replaced meals were fantastic options

  • The cocktails are still fantastic too

  • They've also got great incentives for you to return with weekend offers and theatre menus

  • The atmosphere is welcoming and not pretentious as well

  • A little bird told me that a refurbishment is starting in September

  • Get ready for a succulent food experience with Cantina Laredo

  • The first dish to try out is was what Cantina is known for their guacamole

  • Awakens the taste buds with traditional guacamole and unusual twists of the loved dish

  • This is great as it is both vegetarian and gluten free

  • If you're not daring with your taste buds then stick to the Guacamole Clá

  • Sico which is made with Avocado

  • Prepared at your table with a selection of salsa molcajetes and is both vegetarian and gluten free

  • This is just a classic version of guacamole but is still big on flavour

  • Are small dishes to start with and are perfect for sharing

  • What I love about Cantina Laredo is that the dishes are suitable for different diets

  • Whether you are vegetarian

  • My favourite Entradas dishes were the Camarones Rebozados

  • Are Tiger prawn tempura with chile and lime

  • The prawns are crunchy and full of flavour and are a great way to start your meal

  • The pulled pork is dewy and automatically melts into the mouth

  • My favourite Brochetas to share are Mexican soy and chile de á

  • Tacos are also a highlight of Cantina as there is a variety of tacos for both meat and vegetarian lovers

  • My favourite tacos would have to be Tacos de Pork Belly which is Pork belly

  • Salsa verde with coriander and onion salsa

  • The pork belly is soft and salty

  • By this time I was getting quite full

  • My final taco was something different

  • Tacos de Pato con Mole which is Duck with Nutella mole

  • Plum and duck is quite unusual but seemed to work well together in taste

  • The Nutella was a bit overwhelming and sickly

  • These dishes are not served with sides

  • I chose the Rib Eye con Mantequilla de Habanero Which is the 28 days aged ribeye (270g) with yellow habanero butter

  • I added Arroz Rojo which is Mexican red rice

  • The steak is well marinated but is very spicy

  • Whilst the Arroz Rojo is very similar in taste to my native country (Nigeria) rice

  • The presentation of this cocktail alone is aesthetically pleasing

  • This cocktail is strong and is definitely a signature cocktail to try out

  • I also tried the Juan That Got Away which is Del Maguey Crema De Mezcal

  • The basil made the cocktail sweet but with a spicy aftertaste

  • I chose the Berry ride not to which is Strawberries

  • Even if you are drinking I would recommend getting this mocktail as it is so sweet and refreshing and aids in keeping your palate refreshed

  • The kitchen was kind enough to do so

  • The churros are delicate and tasted so good dipped in the chocolate sauce

  • (Although the cocktails are quite pricey)

  • To be honest it is the same as a street Mexican food but with more expensive prices

  • The guacamole was ok but the quesadillas

  • Fajitas and enchilada were regular food

  • The mexican food is so rich and amazing
