With a very well rounded selection that is not too overpriced
-
Was a beautiful dish with perfectly cooked ramen
-
Though the ponzu sauce was pretty weak (Nobu has spoiled me for this)
-
Hirata buns were average a bit too large and doughy and not enough sauce (yum bun is much better)
-
9) and shishito (deep fried padron peppers with hakata yuzu and British sea salt
-
90) served with a 5 degrees frozen whipped top in a chilled glass
-
That chilly drink is sure to be on my mind
-
S anything at all like when I went you can expect it to move swiftly and for service to be efficient at this tight little communal seating restaurant with the friendly vibe near Piccadilly Circus
-
As the pork was woven with light
-
So the soft and slightly sticky bun was intriguing enough when I picked it up
-
All the others came in a rich tonkotsu pork broth with barbecue pork
-
This cosy Thai restaurant is the perfect place to share a delicious meal with friends or family
-
So I went there after hearing that Shoryu Ramen (Soho) has the best ramen in London
-
It was definitely unique and had a rich flavour but I mostly thought the chef was trying hard to grab attention
-
The burger craze was only going to last for so long and I&rsquo
-
Most importantly the different ramen varieties are fricking delish
-
Not sure what the queuing situation is normally like but I went for post work dinner at 6ish without any wait
-
5 mojito specials with unabashed masculinity whilst waiting impatiently for our meals
-
In short Shoryu ramen are beautiful little buggers &ndash
-
The depth of flavour was incredible for such a quick and simple dish
-
Spoonfuls of spicy minced pork and broth flavoured with white miso
-
Over on the other side of the table a much thicker broth was being slurped
-
) We also got some gyoza on the side which were gone in seconds
-
T sprawling but excites with some inventive noodle concoctions
-
Whilst the atmosphere is relaxed and the staff aren&rsquo
-
The BF and I were recently in the area and needed to have a quick pre theatre dinner as we had a rather long boozey brunch
-
To start with I was a bit daunted by the queue but it moved pretty quickly
-
I thought the pork bun was pretty epic and writing this now brings back that sweet
-
The BF's choice was rather spicy
-
I thought Shoryu was pretty good actually
-
Shoryu Ramen is my go to when in need of a good old ramen fix
-
The thing that I like best about Shoryu asides from the super chilled atmosphere and polite staff that greet all customers in Japanese
-
Is that quality of the sides here are equally as good as the ramen
-
All but this one were closed between lunch and dinner
-
The restaurant is like every other ramen place I've been to in Hong Kong
-
Asked whether it was my first time at their restaurant
-
The following question was whether I was vegetarian
-
I must say it was a pleasant change to all those places that never really bother with making sure you don't order something that you can't or don't want to eat
-
I had a steamed bun with grilled halloumi cheese
-
A bit like a combination of a Chinese steamed bun with a western hamburger
-
The meal was concluded with a cheesecake
-
Marinated the thin slices of plain pork topped with half boiled egg
-
Shoryu's tonkotsu bone broth with gluten free rice noodles packs a whole lot of flavour and umami
-
While their gluten free hirata buns are filled with deliciously crisp fillings and perfectly matched sauces
-
S always brimming with people gives the place a lively atmosphere
-
In line with the way ramen is traditionally consumed &ndash
-
One thing worth keeping in mind is that they refuse to seat incomplete parties
-
We started our meal with a bottle of umeshu &ndash
-
A Japanese plum wine which is a particular weakness of mine
-
D recommend with savoury hirata buns or ramen (although I will definitely end up ordering it again)
-
Involves steamed bread like buns filled with various savoury fillings
-
A Japanese fried chicken dish made with potato starch (see my recipe here)
-
I was completely enamored with the latter &ndash
-
The crispy salmon skin combined with the soft texture of the warm bun was exquisite
-
The gluten free buns were really something &ndash
-
The Tonkotsu broth is made by boiling down and reducing pork bones for hours on end
-
As the boiled egg is flavoured with soy sauce
-
Despite thinking we were well and truly stuffed
-
The first bite was slightly surprising
-
The raspberry mochi (a sweet rice cake) was unbelievable &ndash
-
The service was prompt and efficient
-
The entire meal was extremely pleasant
-
Shoryu Ramen (Soho) was on my wishlist for a while and today was the day
-
The decoration is quite modern and cosy at the same time
-
The service is very quick and friendly as well
-
Trendy and lively spot that is conveniently located next to Piccadilly Circus
-
I'm sad to say this isn't the best tonkostu ramen i've had
-
Vibe and other dishes were enough for it to be an enjoyable one
-
These cocktails were really refreshing and a nice change from wine
-
The last buns I had experienced were at Flesh &
-
Buns and the Shoryu take was a much fresher and lighter option
-
The buns themselves were light and bouncy
-
Punchy and packed with epic little morsels
-
The spinach was lightly doused in sesame and soy
-
My favourite on the plate was the tempura prawns which
-
Were unique in their lightness and worked brilliantly with the dipping sauce
-
The texture was velvety but the sesame seeds and spring onions certainly helped wake things up
-
These tiny desserts are flavoured rice in a cornflour skin
-
My rice was chocolate flavoured and my skin raspberry which was an intriguing
-
This was definitely the best ramen I ever had
-
The waiters were super nice and we had a very warm welcome
-
The broth of the ramen was really rich
-
The Tiger Prawn Bun was also a delight
-
The prawns were cooked and seasoned to perfection and the bun was super soft and sticky
-
The first thing I noticed about Shoryu Ramen is that the staffs are very welcoming and friendly always a nice experience when it comes to going out in general
-
As well as a strawberry calpico as I was in the mood for something sweet
-
While the signature ramen was brilliantly executed
-
The cold ramen was just awful and uninspiring
-
Also the service was just total chaotic
-
A dear friend of ours has a theory on how this is made &ndash
-
Also the woodenness is likely to have hygiene related issues
-
Like eating cloud) with pork belly (melt in your mouth) and some vegetables
-
Average price per ramen is about £
-
The location is good though
-
There is even some sashimi on the menu which is really not understandable
-
The ramen they serve is compressively good
-
The noodles are nice and thick
-
None of the starters is particularly remarkable
-
Shoryu Ramen (Soho) served one of the best tonkotsu ramen
-
I would say Shoryu Ramen and Tonkatsu were my go to places to satisfy my cravings for authentic ramen
-
Served in a little cast iron pan with a tangy dipping sauce and fresh wasabi is this crispy parcel of well seasoned tender minced pork&hellip
-
This never disappoints the tonkotsu ramen taste so good ESP with all the extra condiments I love the seaseme seeds and crushed garlic
-
After having enjoyed the Koi Ramen Bar in Pop Brixton (that is much much cheaper)
-
White Natural Ramen with hard noodles yes please
-
This ramen is made with mushroom broth which makes it vegan and it is absolutely delicious
-
This Ramen place is seriously delicious
-
The tonkotsu was rich and flavorful
-
Best ramen I've had very flavorful and thick broth with a balance of tastes
-
Had the signature ramen dish with extra seaweed mixed in
-
The service was also friendly and attentive
-
I was here for the soft launch with 50% off on all ramen and the place was constantly full
-
Ramen soup was so delicious
-
Variety is big therefore you should something you like if you are hard to please
-
Cozy place with courteous and friendly staff serving Japanese cuisine
-
The flavourful and yummiest Ramen broth is made of authentic Japanese spices and herbs for over 12 hours
-
One will enjoy every bit of it and be full as the quantity they serve is quite a lot
-
Even though it was not expensive I really didn&rsquo
-
My only complaint is that we asked for a table without reservation but we sit on the bar however there was places
-
A vegetarian curry ramen and a classic ramen with mushrooms and pork belly
-
Ramen was one of the best in the area
