Sen Nin (Angel)

• They seem to have changed the setup now and converted into one large open kitchen with a few bar stool type seats facing onto it and the rest of the restaurant a lot more like any conventional place
• I must say the thought of going back here was driven by the idea of having the food cooked right in front of us so it was a bit disappointing to see the changes
• The main attraction point of Sen Nin for me is the 50% off deal on Tuesdays
• Will definitely stick to the sushi on my next visit as this is clearly what Sen Nin does best
• My friends and I took advantage of this by ordering a round of cocktails which came in fun glasses but were clearly cheaply made and tasted of sugary syrup
• The ribs were sticky and tasty but a little bit sickly and the noodles were a little greasy
• The service here is friendly and fast
• I came here with a couple of friends on a Tuesday evening
• My party ordered some bellinis but were disappointed to find they were mixed with Peach Schnapps rather than peach puré
• We started with some edamame beans and miso soup which came quickly and were very tasty
• Mains we shared a variety of sushi dishes which were also tasty but not mind blowing
• Service was great but food and drinks were not particularly amazing
• 30 and as we entered (and waited for 10 minutes for someone to come up and get out reservation) we were informed that the wait for our table would be 30 minutes
• Hungry and appalled with the service
• Sen Nin in Islington is a great teppanyaki restaurant
• The tiger prawns were my favourite and the crispy squid as starters
• Islington branch is an expensive looking teppanyaki restaurant that isn&rsquo

• We normally get Chicken beef and prawn but the best IMHO is the prawn
• The prawns are big and juicy
• Starters were served in good time with the waiting staff being attentive and approachable
• Our chef introduced himself and started with a big flame across the table to set the mood
• Mains were served nice and hot and although two dishes were to be chosen
• The chicken was tasty and moist and the beef choice was cooked to our liking but a bit too salty with the excess soy and sesame oil and sauce
• All mains were served with a choice of egg fried rice or jasmine rice
• Would love to visit again with another group
• Memorable night with decent food
