Salt Bar (Marble Arch)

• In case you are looking for a place where you can chill
• I entered this joint with 6 7 of my friends
• The service was even better
• Even then it came in a couple of shifts by which time we were all famished
• Salt Bar (Marble Arch) was surprisingly good
• Or maybe we went in with expectations surprisingly low
• I do not know what the right story is but I would be overall positive about Salt Bar (Marble Arch)
• We had to wait a bit for the sheesha place sitting as the places are really limited
• We did not go to the restaurant which is on the 1st floor but seemed quite alive with buzzy music coming from upstairs
• Chilli paneer is highly recommended
• We came across Salt and it looked like a nice place with chairs on the outside for the hukka lovers
• There was a queue but we decided to wait and try the starters while we were waiting for our hukka table
• I ordered a bhel and was quiet happy to realise that it was good
• Paneer tikka was perfectly hot and spicy as per London stsndards
• So much so that while outside we were gulping down chaats while sipping on our shishas
• The outdoor waiter was quite stern about the rule of '1 shisha for 2 people' and given how crowded the place I guess it is not an unreasonable rule
• The visit to Salt was completely worth it
• It is one of the best places to dine at on the Edgware Road stretch
• The Indian and Lebanese are equally delicious
• I can easily say are one of the best I've had in my entire stay in the UK
• When I came here there was nobody so the service was fast and the food had good quantity and the food was very good specialty the chicken tikka
• One of the best Sheesha available in marble arch area
• Green tea and jasmine tea are really good to go along with
• The decor inside is very minimal
• We ordered chicken biryani and paneer makhani which comes with a choice of naan or rice we opted for garlic naan
• Very flavourful and authentic and this is coming from an Indian
• A good place with good Indian taste
• Salt located at Marble arch is a sheesha joint along with awesome Indian food
• It is necessary to reserve a table specially on the weekends as there is alot of rush then
• I would like to mention chicken tikka masala and paneer tikka masala are both mouth watering and their biryani is simply awesome
• Salt bar is a sheesha joint with great Indian food
• If you are only going there to eat there is seating inside
• The decor is quite decent with comfortable seating
• My favourite starters here are the Bhel puri and dhai puri as I am really fond of Indian chaats
• The peanut masala is also quite tasty
• From the main course my all time favourite is their Lamb Biryani with raita
• If you are a vegetarian try the panner makhni as well with some garlic naan
• The sheesha here is also quite good
• The minus point is you have to be ready to stand in line for the sheesha as there is always a waiting
• I don't think I have seen worse than is the case here
• What's worse is that they were extremely rude and violent
• Salt Bar (Marble Arch) is a must visit and tops in my list of favourite joints
• The ambience and feel are perfect for a nice evening with friends
• The service is amicable and the staff is well trained
• The food is great and their collection of liquor is always good
• Salt Bar (Marble Arch) is primarily a whisky bar although they now also serve some Indian cuisine snacks too
• The quality of food is pretty average though the taste quite hot for a palate infused with whisky
• The drinking menu is very extensive with an extremely wide variety of drinks on offer and the measure size almost double the regular
• The serving staff is knowledgeable and attentive to the requests too
• I think the place is quite decent
• The place houses some great whiskey's and believe me it is a wide range
• The lamp chops are brilliant and now top my list of favourites
• Went to Salt Bar (Marble Arch) with friends and I admit we had a great time
• The whole experience is really nice
• You can spend some nice time with your friends
• Take my word as a caveat and avoid sitting on the outside space as you will be mingling more with the beggars than you friends
• The interiors were simple and nothing fancy
• The area inside is small but is smartly managed by skilled staff
• The ambiance was energetic and the staff extremely cordial
• I believe the prices are very light on the pocket
• If you guys are sheesha lovers then this might not be the best place
• The food here is average and hence I would advise you to go for just sheesha and not food
• Salt was initially created to create a trendy bar in the Edware road area with Shisha to be on the side
• Every night there is at least a 30 minute wait for shisha but honestly I don't agree with its huge demand
• The shisha is good but not brilliant that one would waste their time to wait for it
• The plating and service is still for a high standard but the food just taste like an Indian man's soul food
• Overall a great restaurant with everything one would want from an Indian Shisha joint
• Amazing place with variety of sheesha flavours
• The kiwi mint and Coconut melon mint was really good apart from some great Indian food
• The Chicken and Paneer Chilli and the Dal Makhni are a must try
• A good place to visit on a less chilled evening in London as the sheesha sitting is only outdoors and can get quite cold at times but they provide you with blankets to keep you warm
