  • Indian Zing (Hammersmith) is fab the quality and taste of the chicken dishes

  • This Indian restaurant is at the end of a high street with far too many restaurants n close proximity to each other

  • Clearly Indian Zing seems to be favoured over the others as a few minutes after we strolled in there late on Monday evening it was heaving with hungry customers

  • I couldn't turn down a week day trip to a part of London that is not quite on my way back home from work

  • The tangy pickle flavour combined with the fiery Goan paste is cleverly balanced by the palm vinegar while the steamed rice cake Goa's answer to bread

  • Vinde Pays a red wine from France with blackcurrant and blackberry flavours with ripe balanced tannins perfect match with our starters

  • That is why food like what we were about to eat brings with a rush of memories

  • When Rahul arrived with a huge tray with 4 mains

  • Pepper and tomato gravy sauce topped with scrumptious caramelised cranberries

  • This dish to me is Goa on a Plate

  • Mop this up with plain naan makes a superb combination I say

  • We were happy that Goan fish Ambottik was part of the selection of dishes we were sampling

  • Not for the faint hearted though this is a fiery one but a true Goan dish

  • I highly recommend washing this down with several glasses of Gamay

  • A lively red with a full aromatic character of crushed fresh berries

  • Absolutely delightful this is a fabulous accompaniment to most of the mains especially the Turkey Jalfrezi

  • No Christmas menu is complete without a showstopping dessert and Indian Zing's spiced exotic Christmas pudding with spicy brandy custard is the perfect ending to a festive feast

  • All we needed now was a warm bed and the day off work the next day

  • Even the presentation of the food is novel and beautiful

  • My main course I had the chicken makhani with the vegetarian biryani

  • I hoped that I would get a bit of zap to go along with the zing on my tastebuds

  • T know what this was but at least it wasn&rsquo

  • The menu is great with lot of regional dishes from India such as the chicken in hirva masala(full marks

  • I was pleasantly surprised to see these dishes on the menu as these are dishes we talk at home but never seen on a menu in a restaurant

  • Both these dishes went excellently well with roti and plain boiled rice

  • They gave a complimentary spicy tomato soup when we arrived which was welcome on the snowy evening

  • Everything we had was carefully and lovingly prepared

  • The restaurant is nice and well decorated but the service could improve

  • The food is nice and the portion size is quite good too
