Daisy Green (Marble Arch)

• Daisy Green is just like some of the cafes I used to frequent in Wellington
• Both of which are at the heart of Australian/New Zealand cuisine
• I do believe there was also a green smoothie
• M slightly obsessed with Marylebone lately
• Nearest tube is Marble Arch
• While eating some banana bread and sipping a coffee (we are condoning eating some banana bread and sipping a coffee)
• Wraps and general tasty looking food on the left with the coffee machine straight ahead with the big ol&rsquo
• I suppose that sounds interes with chilli pesto
• It starts off with the fairly tame effort of black and white pinup models plastered all over the stairs&hellip
• Lead down into a basement with fake grass
• S even a little open air area towards the back with another set of tables and chairs in an arch/cave hybrid
• The coffee (like Soho Bikes) is served in a handleless glass (Why does everybody hate cups now
• You bite in and all you taste is the expected bacon
• Eggs and cheese with a slight hint of spinach&hellip
• I took another bite and this time the pesto was much more up front about it&rsquo
• S intentions and blasted my taste buds with flavour&hellip
• Not people with fears of grass
• Re a blogger Daisy Green (Marble Arch) is abso f*cking lutely perfect to sit down and write
• I know it only because I was fortunate enough to live in the area
• What you really go for is the eclectic 'Alice in wonderland meets an acid high' decor (downstairs)
• My personal breakfast choice is the baked eggs
• You can sit outside with your frozen yoghurt and if it's raining you can hide away downstairs enjoying a cup of tea and some cake or one of the lunch salads
• The furniture and walls are quite original and detailed with colors
• Very friendly staff along with trendy and healthy food menu plus artisan coffee makes this Aussie cafe stand out from the rest
• A street food buisness concept which is focus to change the perspective of a dirty Street food to a high quality upmarket healthy food "
• A thick warm toasted banana bread drizzled with honey topped with butter
• Moist crust from first bite with nutty banana flavour
• It actually wasn't heavy when I was done but a balance bitterness of mechaitto was needed to break it's sweetness
• The area downstairs is huge and uniquely decorated feels like you're stepping into Alice's Wonderland
• Service was fantastic and with free WiFi this spot is likely to become my new work spot
• The shakes were blended and watered down with ice
• Large ice chucks were in the drink
• Patrons next to us were hammered on alcohol by midday and extremely loud/annoying had to control myself from belting them
• The menu sounds great and the cafe looks quirky and fun but the food is so utterly average
• No real flavour in the food and smoothies diluted with ice makes for an unmemorable meal experience
• Ve craved more than once to eat again since my visit a couple of weeks ago) was the Fancy Bacon Roll
• S topped with a heap of back bacon and two free range poached eggs with a crust of crispy onions smothered in The Ribman&rsquo
• Too bad it was a nice day outside &
• The food here was just like being back home in Sydney with the coffee to match
• One of the best cafes in London
• If you want a taste of Melbourne with a London Town twist
• They have the best banana bread that you couldn't find anywhere
• I loved the charcoal toast with eggs and avocado
