Sakagura (Mayfair)

• Stumbled across Sakagura (Mayfair) in Mayfair so decided to try my luck and I was welcomed with great hospitality
• Umami was a key element in a lot of dishes and the sake tasting with sake sommelier a was great touch
• This party was compelling
• Every dish is presented gorgeously
• Just remember their menu is not top notch across the board
• Since it opened a year ago Sakagura has been making a name for itself with its authentic Japanese cuisine and sake bar
• We went with our small baby and the service from beginning to end was exceptional
• They had a highchair for my baby which was very clean
• We had a dedicated waitress as we were the only table downstairs (we ate early in the night)
• The waitress was so friendly
