Royal Dragon (Chinatown)

• After the end of what was a pretty horrendous week at work
• Karaoke restaurant (We didn't actually realise it was a Karaoke place till we left)
• Our process of elimination was to walk into the first restaurant we liked the outside of
• The portion was of a decent size and the duck hot
• That stuff just goes with everything
• I think they were shocked we didn't have more leftovers actually
• This is a place I will definitely remember and will return to the food was reasonably priced
• This is a restaurant and a Karaoke Bar there is no reason to worry as the Karaoke section is well hidden
• The dining space is well presented though low key
• T flight with bright red lights and overloaded with the typical paraphernalia
• We ordered Half Duck pancakes to share between three of us and there was plenty to go around
• S obvious that this is a good restaurant to visit when you see Chinese students dining here in search of authentic food that they are used to
• As with most restaurants in China Town this is not an expensive place to dine
• 6 and main courses are on average £
• With the amount of food served up this is not bad at all
• I was impressed with Royal Dragon as it delivered well above the expectations I had from a restaurant in the middle of China Town
• Though of course this does have its perks as there is no difficulty in getting the waiters attention
• In that service is actually gracious and decor is civilized
• As service can be patchy and inattentive if there are only a smattering of tables occupied upstairs
• We were a group of 5 people but the karaoke room is massive and probably could fit 15 people
• Food was good but the bubble tea wasn't that nice as the bubble was hard to bite
• This was probably the best chinese food i have ever had in my life
• I was feeling like they were doing me a favor and i didnt felt very welcomed in this restaurant
• Sadly I think it is available only if you go for lunch
• I missed the steamed ones but these were delicious as well
• The skill with cooking duck is to keep it moist which didn't come through so I was disappointed
• The kung pao chicken with chilli and cashews was amazing and going really well with egg fried rice
• My friends tried the sweet and sour chicken with white rice which is good as a starter but not with rice as it was extremely dry
• The staff slightly struggles to explain the dishes in English hence be as basic with your questions as you can
