  • We decided on an early dinner which meant we were just in time for the 3 course menu for £

  • Not bad for a restaurant in Mayfair with an excellent reputation and a Michelin star

  • Great Chinese/Asian food with an awesome atmosphere

  • Soft house music in the back ground with lots of buzzy conversation which creates a great vibe

  • Only reason I did not give 5 stars is the fact the tables (as many these days) have a 2 hour time limit

  • The cocktails are great and a personal favourite is the black pepper mock chicken

  • The duck pancake starter was definitely my favourite

  • Two people it was definitely a mountain of food

  • The golden macaroons at the end were a nice treat

  • The coconut semifreddo was beautifully presented

  • Chicken with satay sauce and Tofu's are my favourite

  • The atmosphere was electric and the service was amazing

  • We had a couple of drinks at the bar after which we were seated at our table for dinner

  • ) and the black is as good as ever

  • Stir fry black pepper veg chicken the best and Mushroom and veg spring rolls

  • Tofu and Japanese mushroom clay pot with some veg fried rice were also good

  • Dessert had the raspberry sorbet with strawberries and raspberry sauce heavenly delicious

  • The life of a foodie is always an adventure but the last few weeks have been particularly exciting

  • Watch this space) and it was a race against time

  • We didn't opt for this though and essentially ordered whatever sounded good (which is hard when everything sounds amazing)

  • Black pepper rib eye beef with merlot and the claypot tofu

  • Three people this was a lot of food

  • Every dish was perfection and well balanced flavours

  • If I had a deep pocket this is a restaurant I would keep returning too

  • It proves the diversity that London has to offer with similarity and familiarity

  • I went for a surprise meal with my boyfriend

  • On arrival we were greeted by the amazing door man the decor of the restaurant was beautiful

  • Special occasion or just to treat yourself to what will be one of the best meals you will ever have

  • It's Traditional Chinese food with and A Le Carte flare is worth every penny

  • Both are beautiful and the excellence is mirrored so really it doesn't matter which one you go too

  • Options are limited but what ever vegetarian options they have is outstanding

  • Dim sums to name a few is outstanding

  • The cocktails are phenomenal

  • The bartenders in particular are really amazing

  • The Mayfair branch is closer to my office

  • As I stepped inside everything about it was similar to Hanway Place

  • So yummy and best dim sum in london

  • Excellent place with outstanding food and drinks

  • They are delicious with not even a comment

  • The only reason this amazing restaurant did not get a max rating from me is due to the unfortunate pressure they put on their diners to not exceed the 2 hours which the table is held

  • As the restaurant is very popular

  • First got its Michelin Star in 2011 is right in the heart of Mayfair

  • I was surprised by my darling boyfriend with a trip to Hakkasan

  • I thought I was on my way to Nando&rsquo

  • S but I recognised quickly the road we were walking down we were near approaching my favourite restaurant of all time

  • The decor is exquisite and food is just sumptuous

  • The only downside is that it's a bit dark but apart from that a great place

  • One of the best places in town (still)

  • Had the grilled chilean sea bass in honey and that alone is worth going

  • The service was off course outstanding

  • We started off with a selection of dim sum

  • Were one of the best I had before

  • My absolute favourite dish was and still is the Silver Cod with Champagne

  • It simply melts in your mouth and the taste is just divine

  • All dishes were outstanding and didn't disappoint

  • The wine selection was great you should definitely opt for the German Pinot Noir

  • Went it with my partner and obviously had to start with the duck salad which was great as always although I would have liked a touch more sauce in it personal preference

  • As well we ordered the salt N pepper squid which was ok nothing to rave about

  • Mains we went for the ribeye black pepper kind enough not to cook It with wine and had the vegi fried rice

  • The ribeye only let down was to fatty could barely eat some of the pieces had to chew and chew

  • The prawns dish was very nice almost like a Thai dish

  • You can tell the dim lighting is not to everyone's taste as camera phones with flashes come on to read the menu

  • The bar also made me a great refreshing citrus non alcoholic drink with passion fruit

  • The Jivara bomb comes with the cracking candy of you remember this as a child of the 70's

  • 50 per head which for the area is reasonable

  • Hakkasan (Mayfair) is clearly designed for MEAT eaters and because I eat Halal only

  • Aubergine and Japanese mushroom claypot with homemade tofu

  • It tasted like someone had just thrown some tofu into a pot with soy sauce and cooked in a oven

  • All i could taste was bitterness of the black sauce

  • Service and the decor is what you expect from a fancy place like this

  • Hakkasan is a place with only style but very very very little substance

  • Hakkasan Mayfair is an elegant restaurant

  • I shared a leisurely few hours enjoying lunch with Simon Narracott from London Unattached

  • Every dish that we ordered was presented really nicely

  • Farewell dinner with a few of my besties in London as I won't be seeing them for a little while

  • The restaurant is all dark wood

  • The quality of the food is absolutely extraordinary and the service very professional

  • The dim sum platters are also great as a starter

  • The restaurant was still owned by Alan Yau and the had not been a massive proliferation of branches all over the world

  • The resident gwei lo in the house aka my wife was keen to try the restaurant and with a newly opened branch in Mayfair

  • Since some of our party were stuck in traffic around Knightsbridge

  • We had to put the booking back by half an hour but the restaurant staff were very accommodating

  • Once we got to the table the service was quick and efficient

  • The food arrived quickly and turned out to be some of the best Chinese food I have eaten outside Singapore and Hong Kong

  • It's not that the restaurant was full and they wanted to free up the table

  • I took the issue up with the waitress when paying the bill

  • Even if people are still eating

  • Some other startters which were equally good

  • Shared a portion of lamb with spicy satay sauce as a starter which was absolutely delicious

  • Mains we had sea bass with honey which was amazing in terms of flavour and structure and succulent Mongolian lamb chops which melted in your mouth

  • Only minus is that you cannot have a proper conversation over dinner there due to noise

  • Spicy Prawn with Lily bulb and almond

  • Dim sum selection with Szechen salad

  • Spicy prawn with lily bulb and almond and Grilled Chilean seabass in honey

  • The lobster was by far the meatiest and required a bite where the mushroom was a delicate palate cleanser

  • The apple bun dessert was likened to a cold apple doughnut with apple puree and a small amout of matcha chocolate which didn't taste of much

  • The bun itself was a little hard to break into but once inside the filling mixed together with the outside was a delicious apple pie

  • The matcha chocolate was rather bland and if intensified could have been in double quantity

  • The chocolate bomb was far more pleasing to the eye and envoked a childs response with popping candy and rice krispys

  • As I made my way in to a dark narrow corridor where on one side was a cloakroom I made my way through a see through door to the main reception which directed me to to the left

  • Its dark interior was continued with low seats and multiple tables of various numbers totalling about 8o people

  • Towards the exterior was a small light blue shot of light coming from the bar

  • Apart from this most of the venue is dark with its wooden panels placed as dividers

  • The staff who were allowed to serve were wearing red and everyone either bought drinks or bought the food out

  • One time it was our starters

  • Yes the food was warm but perhaps should have been quicker

  • I was starving not until I had no option than to fill my stomach up with something sweet

  • We started with some cocktails and bubbles by the bar

  • I have to say that service was perfect and the way how meals look like indeed makes impression

  • My overall impression was rather disappointment

  • That was not best asian culinary dinner I ever had

  • The colour palette itself was a sight to behold and made the dish look as good as it tasted

  • The beef was extremely tender and the merlot sauce in which it was served in was a perfect mixture of sweet and sour

  • I followed this dish up with the Hakka Noodles

  • Had a superb texture that was amazing to taste

  • Even though the taste of the food and the service was outstanding

  • It was the presentation of the food that was truly unique to Hakkasan

  • Every dish was delicious and value for money

  • ) the vegetarian options were fairly limited however over the years this has improved and gone from strength to strength

  • We recently went to Hakkasan Mayfair (opened Nov 2010) to celebrate my birthday with the hubby and friends

  • The lower ground (where we were sat) is the more traditional intimate Hakkasan setting whilst the ground floor is more relaxed and has a buzzy bar area

  • Since Hakkasan is definitely in the higher range of pricing for food in London

  • Seeing all the other people at the bar waiting for their table made it clear that this is standard procedure

  • Please consider making more space in the bar so that waiting is at least somewhat comfortable

  • The expectations for the food quality were quite high as well

  • Es (the supreme dumpling selection and the fried aubergine) which were delicious and worth the price in quality and portion size

  • The duck in truffle sauce that we were looking forward to was extremely greasy and the sauce was notably thickened with some kind of starch

  • Since the mains don't come with a side to begin with at a price of 30+ pounds

  • We were also told that it is not possible to order the mains after having our starters

  • We didn't know what we were paying the 13% service charge

  • Not for a date since it is very loud and it's hard to hold a conversation

  • Starters and main were really well cooked and scrumptious

  • Only because I was not able to try one (as it had alcohol) and the other one was a chocolate orange pud (not my favourite)

  • And the Mayfair Location is the Crown Jewel of all the locations

  • The dim sums are great the truffle oil and edamame is my fav

  • The ambiance was great and very welcoming staff

  • Want to try a place with definite class

  • The place is a little particular with their reservations

  • They are also particular with the dress code

  • So dress your best and leave your casuals at home

  • One of the odd things I found about the place was that if one is carrying a cake along for any for form of celebration

  • S candles and if the cake is eaten or is served by the guest

  • Overall we were served by this lovely server named Amanda

  • I usually visit every time I am in London as their food is really good

  • My last visit was for dinner and our mains were brought out even before we finished starters

  • The dim sum and lettuce wraps are recommended

  • The spicy prawn with egg fried rice is always a winner

  • A must try is the sea bass

  • The pepper corn it is cooked with crackles in your mouth leaving your palate so refreshed

  • Ambience and menu is crazy and the taste lives up to it

  • Amanda you are literally beautiful and charming server there

  • I will surely come once again with family to meet you

  • S A big restaurant so you are weary when you walk in wondering if it will be good but it really is

  • We were delayed in getting our table but were graciously compensated with drinks on the house by the manager

  • We started with the appetisers

  • Everything was just amazing especially the dim sum

  • Everything was exquisite and I for one don't easily eat duck

  • If you love to eat Chinese food then it is really a place you should go

  • Great dim sum with good service

  • Got my table reserved via OpenTable which was very convenient

  • Nearest tube station is Green Park

  • The location was at the perfect spot

  • Mainly the service was professional

  • I visited their sister restaurant in Las Vegas last year and setting was much more relaxed

  • Got served great dimsums with good service

  • The cocktail are just a very good combination for my after exam weeks life at Booth

  • This bar is fantastic and amazing for the people like me and my friends who really love this kind of cool places this bar has an unique environment with great ambience and gd service

  • Their Asian fusion flavours are just so damn amazing

  • The plating is so creative
