  • This restaurant is a very contemporary and corporate version of old Chinese tea houses

  • Where you can have drinks with friends while eating boiled eggs and dim sum

  • The cocktails were better than the food

  • Char siew buns were pretty tasty

  • He will go on picking up plates while we are still eating (his hand almost knocked my face out while trying to do so)

  • I was hoping that this is an isolated case

  • I guess that is what you would expect from a place which serves unlimited dim sum for 20£

  • Over rated is more like it

  • Remember this is Asian fast food style restaurant not real fine dining although restaurants are nicely kitted out will always be back

  • The setting is very nice and most tables are designed for sharing plates

  • I also love their char siu buns which had amazing soft texture with some rich in flavor fillings

  • They have some tasty rice dishes with broccoli and chicken

  • A lovely place to dine with friendly and warm staff

  • I remember coming here with a few a large group of friends

  • The service was extremely good

  • Moreover the food was very nice indeed

  • The service is fast and the atmosphere is very relaxed

  • So it is a nice go to place for lunch if you are craving Chinese

  • The staff wasn't particularly friendly and the prices were average in the sense that you have to order larger quantities if you go on a hungry stomach

  • Some of the best and authentic dim sum I've had in recent memory

  • If I didn't make an effort to be conscious of the bill I'd probably keep on eating until they were out of food

  • I like to mix and match but the pork puffs and duck rolls are always a fixture for me

  • The service is excellent and the staff make very good recommendations

  • If Chinese food is not on the top of your list then try Ping Pong to change your mind because it certainly changed mine

  • Some flavours I have never heard of were absolutely amazing for herbal fusion drinks

  • The dim sums were very well cooked and had delicious stuffing inside that I could just eat on

  • It is a cool and relaxing place to have lunch in with friends for a catch up

  • The interior is very modern and classy and the place has its own bar and seating area

  • Absolutely affordable just like any other Chinese restaurants around the corner but the service and atmosphere are great in Ping Pong

  • What I like about Ping Pong is the fact that they add seasonal dishes to their menu now and then

  • The cocktails were top notch as ever

  • My absolute favourite among the A/W14 dishes were the lobster dumplings

  • While they were all quite nice

  • I have to admit that the lobster dumpling were the only ones that really stood out

  • We finished our dim sum session with their new apple and cinnamon parcels

  • I just love dim sum and Ping Pong is definitely a great place to visit

  • Also for those who are bored of the usual ones and like trying out new recipes while sipping on some great cocktails will definitely appreciate Ping Pong as well

  • Sundays at Ping Pong can equal an as much as you like sumday dum sums with a free mocktail (cocktail is available aswell)

  • It makes it easier if there are 3 people as most of the dim sum is available in 3

  • Soon favourites were picked out which included prawn toast

  • All in all there were 17 different dishes on offer and 23 rounds completed

  • The seating upstairs is mostly a bar setting with mostly 2 seats

  • Downstairs is tge kitchen alongside bug sharing tables and a cute corner of 4s or 2s which is where I sat

  • Was brought here with a friend strictly for one dish

  • Don't think it was as good as it had been before

  • I can go to Ping Pong and have a really tasty meal which is also relatively healthy

  • This branch is stylish and there are bar seats around the steam kitchen to see the dumplings being cooked

  • Ping Pong is a contemporary restaurant that serves authentic Dim Sum throughout the day with cocktails and Chinese teas

  • I love my Dim Sum Sundays because Dim Sum is usually served from 11am 5pm so I never make it during the weekdays

  • The meaning of Dim Sum is basically a small Chinese dish that's steamed or fried which contains various savoury fillings

  • It's a great place to catch up with friends and as they say

  • All the fun is in the sharing (lets just hope my friend is into sharing

  • ) I have noticed that Ping Pong serves seasonal specials alongside their menu and I was really keen to try something new

  • I am a massive gin lover and what better way to start my evening than a glass of Nashi Pussycat cocktail jinzu gin infused with yellow gold oolong tea nashi pear

  • Chartreuse yellow liqueur and fresh lemon juice whilst my friend was too intrigued to not get the Hong Kong Colada a classic tropical cocktail with a twist

  • Fresh lime and pineapple juice served in a bamboo mug with a bamboo leaf

  • We had a long piece of paper with a pencil to mark which dishes we would like in quantities (very different from ordering a starter and main course)

  • Puff pastry glazed with honey topped with sesame seeds

  • Usually I know them as triangular shaped so it was interesting to see Ping Pong's version that's shaped like a sausage roll

  • They are pork fillets in sesame and chilli marinade with lettuce and red araranth

  • Be prepared to get stuck in with your hands

  • The seasoning on this pork tenderloin really brings out the flavours and is well balanced with the lettuce

  • The main dishes I was looking forward to the most were the baos

  • There has been a rise in popularity with white steamed buns and how could I resist from trying these

  • They are on their seasonal specials so it was a no brainer to try these before they disappear from the menu

  • Comes with 3 fluffy white steamed buns with griddled smoked duck served with lollo rosso lettuce

  • Hoi sin sauce with roasted sesame seeds

  • Also comes with 3 fluffy white steamed buns

  • King prawns with a chilli coating served with avocado

  • I think the fried king prawns went really well with the steamed buns which had that extra crunch

  • A dessert to end my fun filled night at Ping Pong which was the Yuzu matcha finger cake

  • It's a matcha green tea biscuit base with mango and passion fruit compote and yuzu mousse

  • When I first read the menu I thought there was a lot going on but once the dessert arrived

  • So I savoured every moment of it with a small bite at a time

  • Get confuse with the type of guy who will try everything at least one time

  • It's okay buy it is only dumplings (well made I have to say

  • I enjoyed the variety and it was topped off with a good glass of wine

  • Slightly over priced but with the quality of food that they serve

  • Go for their Ping Pong selection set menu for 1 if you are confused about what to order

  • The atmosphere at Ping Pong branches are always welcoming

  • This informal feel is also present at the Ping Pong branch in Soho

  • The star on the menu for me were the pork or mushroom (for the veggies) puffs

  • The price this all you can eat is worth it and it&rsquo

  • Decided on coming to ping pong for lunch while shopping it was a good choice it's like a posh yo sushi

  • Starters i had the mushroom pastries then I had the duck spring rolls they were delious then sticky sea food rice that was nice with prawn &

  • Portion of ribs the food was lovely &

  • I guess the location is great and the place has a trendy

  • I like this chain as the staff are knowledgeable and the menu is more extensive than in my lack branch

  • The cocktails are nice and more generous here

  • It was so yum and I was so satisfied with my last meal in the city

  • When no table was available but thankfully Ping Pong did not disappoint us

  • The stools are quite slippery on seating but the view from level one to basement is quite nice

  • The bar looks good with a wide range of cocktails

  • A very light snack with an interesting texture

  • One comprising of very soft buns which are opened quite tenderly

  • These are to be filled with avocados and prawns served in the other plate

  • Chilli chicken with sticky rice looked good but not that great

  • It is a good option if you are looking to eat something filling in less quantity

  • We went safe here and tried chocolate fondant which was a chocolate mousse/cake served with vanilla ice cream

  • The ice cream was quite herbilicious

  • This is okay but the dumpling skin is a bit too thick

  • Considering the high end area Ping Pong is located and the good food they serve

  • Our dim sum arrived quite quick but there were not exceptional

  • I paid the bill and we left and it is the last time my sister and I will go to a place like this

  • The service was good and efficient

  • The Ping Pong outlet of Soho is a great option for vegetarians also

  • The Thai soup was every bit delicious with wontons and coconut in its base and little pieces of fried onions that were caramelized made the soup taste a lot better

  • The veg spring rolls were delicious too

  • The filling was yummy and the best part was the oil content was less

  • The edamame beans were yummy too and with a generous sprinkling of spices

  • The dumplings were steamy hot

  • I ate an entire dim sum in one go ( they were that good) and the spicy vegetable dumpling too was nice

  • Vegetable filling and it was piping hot and soft when it arrived on the table

  • The meal for two is amazing and is a good bargain to try out as many dishes as possible

  • The dim sums are also delectable

  • Quite central and the space is really good

  • Waiters were not very nice and we had a constant feeling that we were bothering them

  • A decent place with one of the best dimsums in London

  • A great ambience helps improve your experience however the service is a little slow which could be worked upon

  • First of all the waitresses are all miserable

  • The only time my waitress smiled was when she spilt my drink over me

  • Spacious place with relaxed vibe

  • The number eight is an auspicious number in Chinese culture

  • Not the sport) is quite prolific here in London

  • The pastry is sticky but manageable and the fillings are flavourful and interesting

  • I was very content with the pork buns too

  • The fillings are proper and meaty and didn&rsquo

  • Great Chinese restaurant which serve the best chinese finger food and starters in town

  • A dinner hosted by a foodie friend was the one of the best here at Ping Pong soho

  • Its presence is at many places try any of them all are same

  • The thing you will love is the way you order

  • S the Year of the Dog and what better way to celebrate than at Ping Pong with their mouth watering Chinese New Year Menu

  • The Covent Garden branch of the dim sum chain is modestly stylish

  • I mean how are they even making it

  • The starters are great and I loved the ambiance

  • A great value for money and the service was decent as well

  • Had the lunch basket and was told by the waiter that the quality would be similar but it was not nice at all

  • Ve tried something from the a la carte menu that was much better

  • This so very famous and classy place is a worth visit

  • Chicken etc practically everything on offer and each one was better than the other

  • The soup dumpling are a must have

  • The St Katharine's dock location is my favourite location

  • Ping pong is a great place with superb food and friendly staff

  • They have a variety of dimsum options that are mouthwatering

  • Some of the xiao long bao we received were already broken when they reached the table (juices spilt out)
