  • Park Chinois is Alan Yau&rsquo

  • Ve neither been to Shanghai nor lived in the 20s but I imagine this is exactly what it&rsquo

  • I was a vegetarian and my friend was not so we tried both

  • The setting and atmosphere was so romantic

  • I liked that it was sophisticated

  • We felt very special while we were there throughout the whole evening

  • Both food and drinks menu were very exciting and we ended up having two rounds of cocktails each

  • Cocktail which were both great

  • The mysterious pink cocktail was called &lsquo

  • It was certainly the best cocktail we tried from the menu

  • Above it hung a notice with the words 'On Air'

  • It was more my type of place with 1920's Shanghai glam with live jazz music and elegant glitzy setting

  • It's exclusive with heavy doors without any big flashy sign outside

  • I felt as though I was really transported to the glitzy

  • I ordered the steamed egg pudding with dried scallops and anchovies

  • Main I asked the waiter for a recommendation and he said tge Angus beef steak with black bean sauce was very good and popular

  • It was honestly my top best 3 Ive ever had

  • Re married to a person who started eating Chinese food when he was only a few weeks old

  • The only way to make more of what could be a pretty dull trip to the same restaurant each year is to find the newest

  • The dining room is one of my favorites in London

  • Food I think is a touch below quality wise with Yau's other Chinese ventures

  • While attempting to be more innovative with certain dishes

  • Some clocking in at over 30 quid) are near extortionate though

  • Baked char siu bao (7/10) There is an immense amount of skill in the baked dim sum here

  • Perhaps the sugar used to obtain that crunch is what keeps it from being perfect though

  • (My favorite incarnation of these are at Yauatcha

  • The pastry was immensely buttery

  • I thought this too was a bit sweet though

  • (5/10) I thought this was a bit lacking in intensity

  • The filling of the dumpling was flavorful and moist and the roe placed atop the dumplings added a satisfying bite of salt and unique texture

  • The dish is filled with little dried shrimp and nduja sausage

  • I'm paying top dollar and the bulk of the plate is filled with large pieces of uncooked

  • (4/10) The crab and the noodles were both wonderful

  • The noodles and crab were both too similar in texture

  • I think the consistency of food is higher at the list of Yau establishments at the top of this review

  • The ambiance is not something to be missed and the food really does attempt and often times succeed to stand out from Yau's other restaurants

  • The restaurant upstairs is more formal dining

  • The dim sums were average chilly one better

  • The ambience and decor is very warm and charming

  • The service is excellent and professional with the exception of the guys at entrance who treat you as if they have done you a favour to accept you in spite of having a reservation

  • Some dishes stand out (the ribs for example) some are good (crispy duck rolls)

  • While others are just ok (the Wagyu beef)

  • Not all dishes are Chinese though

  • Some are Japanese (soft shell crab) and others are Thai (shrimp curry)

  • The ground floor is more of a fancy/fine dining with staff in white uniforms and a jazz band in the middle of the restaurant however

  • The lower ground is more of a club oriented restaurant but with the same menu

  • This is how every person is treated in Park Chinois

  • The salad was extremely delicious with all of the cheese

  • The roll was fried to perfection and the duck was cooked perfectly

  • The chicken was of high quality and it was mouthwatering

  • The sauce that came with it was so light

  • I fell in love with the salad that came under it

  • I didn't taste it because it was too hard and too cold

  • Hence was happy to try Park Chinois (Mayfair) look the dim sum is really good (try the shrimp its a house favourite)

  • The crowd maybe is over the top but thats Mayfair after all nowadays

  • I was not very impressed with their vegetarian selection

  • What great food and the duck was outstanding and the steam wild sea bass and the park carbonara

  • The food was pretty nice and we had some great wines (although the wine list is on the ridiculously expensive side compared to other restaurants of this quality

  • You are likely to be greeted by a colorful character with just as much personality as the restaurant itself

  • PC has a lively atmosphere with down tempo music

  • All the stops were taken out to ensure my visit would be a memorable one for all of the right reasons

  • Quickly locating my reservation with ease and showing me through to the upstairs dinning area

  • Starting the evening at the bar (as I was very early

  • I was seated and welcomed and enjoyed friendly conversations with the bar staff whilst sipping on a delicious and well put together Espresso Martini

  • Accompanied with bar nibbles

  • A bottle of complimentary rose champagne was delivered to enjoy with the meal

  • The wine glasses that were not in use

  • Are some of the best ribs that I have experienced

  • This was a show stopping dish that is brought to the table

  • Presented to you with an explanation of the ingredients all before being carefully mixed together

  • Then plated for you with delicate precision

  • The pancetta was deliciously smoky and the organic egg tasted fantastic

  • Park Chinois is an opulent and glamorous venue

  • This colourfully done restaurent on two floors is on Berkeley street

  • This 300 plus seater is immensely popular since it's inception about 2 years

  • Worth another visit at dinner time with 500 guests swooning to music and great cocktails

  • The food (they have the best duck ever)

  • I really hope it opens in Dubai soon with the same concept

  • The place has a wonderful interior however the staff are rude and not friendly

  • I did like the vegetable dumpling and the sweet and sour chicken is beyond delicious

  • We were a group of four and who were super excited to go here cause of the buzz about the place

  • We were welcomed in by this cocky guy who though he was too good to be a doorman

  • Tried to give him a compliment cause he was wearing cool shoes

  • Anyways we entered and they were quite cold at the enterance

  • The only good part was the lady manager

  • Terrible food extremely greasy and portions are so small for what they charge

  • Not a patch on hakkasan which is right next door

  • Appetizers were Wagyu Gyozas and Chilli chicken

  • The mains we ordered the Beef rib and the Rice pot with Black Truffle

  • May need to come back here with a bigger group to try more

  • Dinner and a show this is the place to be

  • Amazing interior with exotic notes that welcomes you from the entrance through the powdering room

  • Absolutely one of the best places to be in London

  • The food is always amazing along with the ambiance

  • Go for the duck pecking it is a must have I don&rsquo

  • Caviar selection is great and pretty much not a place to worry about dieting

  • Their signature duck dish which was super tasty

  • The rest of the food were all very good

  • Park chinois is one of my favorite restaurants in london

  • Their truffle rice is a must try

  • Reservation is necessary as it is generally fully booked
