Pilau (Soho)

• The normal menu option is that one selects a size
• Mine was different as it was via Mealfix so I imagine these choices were preset
• There definitely was no rice here
• It was more like paneer with sickly sweet chili sauce
• Not assisted with the slathering of the sauce
• I felt Pilau was taking Indian food into a pseudo modern direction I didn&rsquo
• Pilau will always be associated with my Dado's amazing cooking
• I have to say it's not like a traditional pilau dish but as a meat dish with rice it's pretty amazing
• The meat was tender which is a great plus
• The large portion is good enough for two people or two helpings
• Pilau non fussy Indian street style food is a crowd pleaser
• With Mealpal it is a set lunch with no customisation and I got to skip the queue
• Pilau quickly fills up with people once it hit lunchtime
• The portions are large with great
