  • This is the second time I have dined here the first time was upstairs on the terrace in the sun which was fantastic

  • This time we were in the more formal restaurant which was superb

  • Orrery Cafe is the perfect escape

  • It is 10 min away from Baker street tube station with outdoor seating

  • The cafe in comparison to the restaurant is quite cheap

  • My favourite dish would be the shared plate with 4 different salads which you can choose

  • I like the cafe as it is quite convenient

  • The Orrery is a french restaurant located in the popular Marylebone High Street and close to Baker Street and Regents Park Tube Stations

  • Braised shin and wild mushrooms as a started and main meal and for my dessert I had Apple tart with vanilla ice cream

  • I originally misheard the name and thought he said we were at going to eat at &lsquo

  • My friend then spelled out the name but I was none the wiser to what Orrery meant

  • The actual model on display at the restaurant is on loan from the Greenwich museum

  • We chose a selection of cheese from the trolley and a Lemon tart with a raspberry sorbet

  • With dishes cooked to perfection and served with such flair

  • The only downside for me was the atmosphere or rather the lack of it

  • We were there for Sunday lunch which was a rather quiet time of day

  • The layout of room is unusual as well

  • S a long rectangular room with large arched windows on one side looking out onto the Marylebone Church Gardens

  • T deny their set menu is an absolute steal for what they offer and well worth a visit

  • Sommelier explained us all the wine properties and why where matched with the food flavours

  • Chef reserved us a special treat not in menu (salmon tartar with quail egg) knowing that we where celebrating an important day

  • I personally advice as a dessert the white chocolate parfaits with handmade white peach ice cream
