  • Simply stunning The best restaurant in London

  • Ledbury was also voted best restaurant in the National Restaurant Award 3 times and ranked 14 in the World 50 best restaurants by Restaurant Magazine

  • As of writing The Ledbury (Notting Hill) offered me the best dinning experience so far

  • I had lunch on my first visit and I was so impress that I booked the second visit right on the spot at the end of the meal

  • Seeing a 2 stars kitchen in action and chatting with Brett was a truly wonderful experience

  • Started off with some foie gras pastry as Amuse Bouche

  • Creamy and light with a crispy base

  • Not oily at all with all the richn

  • Holder of two Michelin stars and voted 13th best restaurant in the world

  • Chef patron Brett Graham is truly a special talent

  • I can say that only Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley is at a similar level

  • The passion and enthusiasm from Brett is second to none

  • At the same time he is also very composed and laid back which makes him such a unique chef

  • This weekend was finally the one we had lunch with my flatmate at The Ledburry

  • When we arrived there the team was very welcoming

  • The main room was beautiful but in my opinion

  • This was our second experience of a 2 Michelin starred restaurant and expectations were high along with the two month wait since booking increasing the anticipation

  • We chose to visit during a Sunday lunch sitting as this seemed to give the best value at £

  • 50 for three courses with a selection similar to the normal weekday a la carte menu at £

  • The restaurant was smaller than I had imagined and there are many mirrors on the walls to create an illusion of a bigger space

  • After a warm reception we were led to our table where Mrs Nom was offered a bag hook for her bag

  • Delicious food and the service experience was one of the best ever

  • I also really appreciate that the sommelier read our tastes very well and introduced us to wines we had not previously tried and were reasonably priced

  • Please note that this is an occasional thing

  • Some dishes pushed my ability to appreciate certain flavours and the presentation was all round stunning

  • This visit was not to disappoint

  • The brioche was soft and airy with a light dusting of something crunchy on top

  • You will have to forgive me here as although the intricacies of the amuse bouches were explained to me in depth by our waiter

  • I was too interested in savoring the food with my sight and smell senses to pay attention

  • It brings up childhood memories of trauma of that awful purple (why was it always purple) vegetable that I pushed around my plate as a kid

  • We were welcomed with a smile and taken to a wonderful table showcasing the dining room

  • The warm welcome was appreciated amidst my disarray

  • Beautifully presented food with interesting flavour combinations

  • The Ledbury (Notting Hill) is a definite must when in London

  • I visit The Ledbury (Notting Hill) often with my husband for lunch or dinner

  • Lunch have a less fixed with an excellent value for money

  • All the dishes are beautifully presented and delicious

  • The restaurant is worth the trip

  • Drinks list with such a tasty food

  • The taste of the maquerel dish is still haunting me since then

  • I went there with a friend yesterday

  • The Ledbury (Notting Hill) is beautifully decorated with such nice and friendly atmosphere

  • Quite simply the best fine dining experience we have had

  • World's top 20 list and The Ledbury deserves it all with its delicious menu and perfect service

  • Course the food is the star here

  • The Ledbury is a formal and serious fine dining restaurant

  • My wife and myself both had the full tasting menu with matching wines

  • The service and food was impeccable

  • My only critique would be if the service staff could announce the food and wine more clearly and with a greater depth of understanding and passion

  • The interpretations and motivations behind the dishes are as important as the balance and techniques used in the actual dish

  • One of the gentlemen that served us was excellent the others were in need of some practice and guidance

  • Our favourite was the tomato dish

  • As silly as it sounds the house bread and whipped goats whey butter was also a high light

  • Amongst the places I was asked to cover this year was the Ledbury

  • I had sort of always wanted to try but it was not exactly on top of my list

  • He'd already gifted me a dreamy present from when we went to New York (I am subsequently obsessed with all things Henri Bendel)

  • So I definitely did not expect him to take me out for what was the best lunch I've ever had in London

  • At The Ledbury he is joined by Head Chef Greg Austin

  • Everything from the entire to the min to dessert were superbly cooked and excellent service all round

  • Ledbury used to be a restaurant I would frequent a lot back when I was living in London

  • The restaurant had just obtained a Michelin star and was viewed as a &lsquo

  • I still remember a lunch service and where there were about 4 other diners

  • The Ledbury is a gastronomic explosion of foams

  • The strawberry tart is definitely one of my fave deserts ever

  • The restaurant itself was a bit subdued being Sunday lunch but is very well presented and i'd imagine would have a great atmosphere in the evening

  • The food and service were top notch as you'd expect

  • The snacks at the beginning were excellent (especially the dumpling) and the meal throughout was of a very high quality with the highlights being the Agen prune and the Belted Galloway dishes

  • They even gave us an extra desert to share which was a really nice touch

  • The manager was very charismatic

  • I figured that a menu where I didn't think anything worked must mean that I was again wrong about it

  • Located on the corner of 2 residential roads and is utterly unassuming

  • The tables are laid out such that you're not sitting on top of each other and it's all nice and serene as you'd expect

  • We had the 8 item tasting menu with paired wines

  • The first course was tomatoes and langoustine oil

  • The white beetroot with smoked eel (and I admit I'm biased as I love smoked eel) was again perfectly balanced as I expected the beetroot to overpower the eel but no

  • The warm bantam's egg with dried ham and truffle was a Sunday morning fry up given an up market make over

  • It was the mildest dish with truffle I have ever encountered and this is a good thing as I find truffle more often than not kills the flavour of everything else on the plate

  • This was really well balanced and the truffle was just one of the flavours not the heavy flavour killer I'm used to

  • Crab and parmesan crisp was full of the flavour of the sea and the parmesan just enhanced the sea flavours with it's own saltiness

  • The glazed aubergine if I'm honest was the weakest item on the menu

  • Melt in your mouth beef with bone marrow

  • The first dessert was a set custard and doughnut

  • Mainly for the horribly gelatinous cold custard within so this was a massive shift from what I was expecting

  • Far from being the claggy lump of vanilla I expected it was a light delicate little thing with tasted amazing

  • Coupled with the tiny delicate doughnut it was a real surprise

  • The brown sugar tart with stem ginger ice cream was a struggle

  • Not because of anything to do with the food just because we were stuffed

  • Even though we'd only eaten brunch that day and it was now 10 hours later we had to fight to make room for it

  • The service is as informal as the dress

  • Our sommelier was excellent (I'm really sorry I can't remember her name which is appalling as she was fantastic)

  • Of course Dylan with his very dry sense of humour

  • I have to say that I think the service here was better than at the Waterside Inn under Diego and the food was on a par

  • My last meal at the Ledbury was back in January

  • The kitchen was working on a limited menu and they were very upfront with the fact that this was because of restrictions to supplies at that time of the year

  • It was a very solid meal and it was nice to see Brett cooking in his own kitchen during the holidays

  • A refreshing change in this day and age when many chefs are much more interested in showing up on TV than they are maintaining the high standards in their own kitchen

  • Kang of Londoneater had kindly gone to the trouble of booking us a table which these days are booked solid two months in advance

  • Ve been unable to secure a table in the past is because you cannot get a table as a solo diner&hellip

  • 10/10 food was out of this world if we had any issues with any of the ingredients theyu offered an alternative

  • We had a small problem where we wanted to try 3 different main courses but there were onkly 2 of us

  • As a surprise they brought out a small sampler plate of the dish we were curious about but did not order

  • I would have been fine with the six and more than full but we didn't want to miss out on tasting anything as it all sounded incredible

  • We headed across for what was to be an amazing experience

  • Everything was just perfect

  • The restaurant is quite spacious

  • The aged pidgeon was just insane

  • The pheasant egg and celeriac is a dish I could eat every morning

  • The wine list is also balanced and well priced with a couple gems at a decent price

  • They say that lunch is the inferior meal of fine dining

  • Their flavors are anything but

  • The Ledbury also has been accredited with two Michelin stars

  • Brett Graham is the man behind the acclaimed restaurant hailed from Australia bagging the Josephine Pignolet award

  • All the stuff were fab but a special mention goes to Javier and Natalie

  • The highlights for me from the tasting menu were the smoked eel surprise

  • Food taste is good and best dish is sandwiches

  • The Ledbury is a fine dining restaurant with a real emphasis on fine

  • As every part of our visit was truly exceptional

  • When having a meal with diverse food and many courses

  • I always find that my tastebuds are more generous to trying new flavours and items in this scenario

  • It is one that was 100% worth it

  • Every dish was made to perfection and I couldn&rsquo
