Noodle Street (Poplar)

• Noodle Street (Poplar) is not somewhere you would go on a romantic date period
• The good thing is decent food
• All the food was served with a smile
• Some reason the place is being continuously cleaned
• So go for Noodle Street (Poplar) if you can enjoy good food with a smell of phenyl
• The place was almost empty when we went in and the decor was sparse too (though very clean)
• Me the highlight has been the garlic prawns with rice though some of my vegetarian friends did not seem too pleased with the place
• Noodle street is a good home delivery option if you are in the docklands
• Though admittedly everything on there is not amazing but some of the stuff is really very good
• The dim sums were ok but the soft shell crab wasn't amazing it felt like the oil used was maybe a bit stale
• The curry there wasn't much to write home about but the prawns were just brilliant with fried rice
• Some of the sauces was too salty for my liking
• Perhaps from the temporary pregnancy I was experiencing
• The food baby I was harbouring from DF Mexico
• The wantons were enough on their own to carry the dish
• If you're struggling for Chinese food delivered to Shoreditch personally I think this is your best bet
• The Lunch special is fantastic value
• The star of the show are the grilled dumplings
• Each mouthful is a burst of delicious steaming broth and delicate pork mince wrapped in a chewy crisp skin
• The other starters are good but you HAVE to try the dumplings
• It's been recently taken over and it was obvious immediately that the food is not the same unfortunately
• I was extremely disappointed with my lunch and left most of it and I will no longer be the regular that I was which is jarring because their lunch specials were very good value
• You feel like you are bothering the staff when you need something god help you if you do
• After enquiring with the manager
• The whole experience was all about HORRIBLE food and even HORRIBLE customer service
• No salt or any seasoning seems like egg rice cooked in bulk dumped on the plate smothered with tasteless tofu slime
• We decided to give them a benefit of doubt and ordered mix veg noodles this was the even worse
• Felt like the noodles were swimming in a pool of oil before being dumped on the plate
• The servers annoying face and equally annoying attitude was enough for us to realise that a bunch of morons are running the show in this shitty place
• Expecting these morons to have any idea of customer service is a complete waste of effort
• I just love Chinese food and Noodle Street (Poplar) is great for you and your mates
• The portions are also big so you will walk out of there with a satisfied tummy
• My experience with noodle street is great
