Spice Merchants (Poplar)

• My regular order is a chicken korma with extras such as naan bread and onion bhajis
• What I like most about this Indian restaurant over others I've tried is the way they make the chicken korma
• They're generous with the chicken and the sauce is creamy and the best I've tasted
• Eating at the restaurant is a pleasant experience
• Lighting and atmosphere is relaxing and the tables are located around the the large window looking out onto the street so it feels very open
• No problems with delivery and temperature of food
• The item says it's served with 'appropriate' sauce
• This truly was a disgusting dish
• Off colour curry is completely devoid of any tomato (a basic for any butter chicken) and any creaminess
• Or any kind of spice associated with a proper butter chicken
• Just a normal naan bread cooked in the tandoor with a pile of grated cheese chucked on top with some sliced green chillies
• It was reasonable but honestly after everything else is so bad the rice ain't gonna save you
