Momo - Hotel 55 (Ealing)

• What I have always loved about 'Momo' is that their Japanese really keeps the traditional look
• *For those of you who are big Japanese fans
• The restaurant is within a quant B&
• It opens up into a nicely decorated area with a Japanese style garden at the back
• The restaurant is run by Japanese with a few Japanese customers (which is a great start to its authenticity)
• We tried the shabu shabu set menu which is effectively Japanese hot pot
• It comes with a sashimi or sushi starter which are both well made
• The hot pot come with a plate of beef and TONS of vegetables so is a great healthy choice and tastes great with the tahini based sauce
• The cooking is done by a waitress which is a shame as we'd love to get our hands dirty though it does prevent the probability of us over cooking
• Dessert is ice cream or fruits which is perhaps the only let down though Japanese cuisine was never famous for that
• Car park space is very limited though it's very near to a station (South Ealing
