Hayfield Masala (Stepney)

• A restaurant that was empty their service was extremely bad
• Shame really as it was a local eatery
• The sauces are delicious and they are filled with succulent chunks of meat (unlike some places where you just get a couple of lumps)
• I have tried others and can attest that they are just as good
• The appetisers are very appetising and while I have not tried any desserts there I just can't imagine they would let the side down
• It never seems to be very busy in there which is a puzzle to me
• Not a bad thing if you're going out for a quiet meal with the family
• The entrance and interior are very wheelchair friendly which can be a problem at a lot of other restaurants and the staff are very friendly and accommodating
• The only slight disappointment for me is the fact that they don't serve alcohol (which is funny as I remember the place when it used to be a pub
• Hayfield Masala was the venue chosen for a recent engagement party
• The day began very slow on arrival with the restaurant yet to be set up with the correct amount of tables to cater for our guests which caused much delay
• The bride's main stage was set up at the incorrect part of the restaurant
• There was a huge issue with the behaviour and attitude of some of the staff at Hayfield Masala
• The rudeness and disruptive behaviour of the waiters is inexplicable
• Two waiters were found to be the culprits
• No appropriate or severe action was taken by the managers of the establishment to address this wrongdoing
• What was even more ridiculous was their attempt to silence the whole disruption caused by the theft
• Disappointment and embarrassment on a day where two families are brought together to celebrate a beautiful and important moment in life
