Anima D'italia (Stepney)

• The results were mind blowing
• The service was great the food was utter perfection
• Anima D'Italia is just Bangladeshi owners trying to fake Italian food
• Even though it is a newly opened restaurants
• My order was completely botched up and I was served Ravioli with what seemed to be cooked from frozen Salmon that had a very powdery texture
• I went to Anima D'Italia today and I must say the food was totally exquisite
• I have eaten at previous Italian restaurants before but it was amazing how Anima D'Italia managed to capture the "
• The ambience in the room was really authentic and it was fine dining at it's best
• I ordered the Pollo Funghi which was worth the wait
• Dessert was the tiramisu which was delight for the senses
• Being a working professional means that I am blessed with the chance to travel a lot and eat a variety of cuisines
• It is without a doubt very difficult to find Halal Italian restaurants and Anima D'Itaia serves some of the best and finest quality Italian food that I have ever eaten
• The staff are very professional and are very attentive
• I have been back twice since my first visit and the food in consistently clean and it is apparent that only the finest ingredients are used
• I am not aware where the chiefs are from but I couldn't care less as they do a damn good job at cooking Italian Cuisine
• (I would award 5 Stars but Anima D'Italia is on the other side of London from me so 4.5 until they open in North West London
• They do serve hot and ingredients are fresh so it is worth the wait
• Very nice dining atmosphere with Italian music and soft lighting
• Occasional slight inconsistency with pastas when there's more customers around
• The atmosphere is fantastic and has a very romantic feel to it
• This restaurant is by far the best I've seen
• Especially the location it is situated in
• Having the candle lit on our table was also a nice touch
• S that waiter with the long jet black hair and the waitress were very cute
• As soon as the waiter served me with the delicious T Bone Steak my mind immediately changed
• It was the best Steak I have ever had out of all the restaurants I've been too
• It's not just the food which was so fantastic about the restaurant
• The customer service showned by the waiter was also amazing
• First time been to an Italian and it was a wonderful experience
• Chicken breast with creamy musroom sauce and steak with roasted veges
• Had lunch at Anima last week with some colleagues
• The dishes were all full of flavour and presented very well
• Its as if they cant cope with one table and "
• The pasta tasted average and the dessert was very poor (I left it)
• The only plus was that it is a quiet place and the starter was allright
• We both went there with very little expectation as every time we passed the restaurant
• This is one of the best halal restaurants by far
• It was really refreshing to go to a restaurant which was not a griller
• We went to the restaurant based on Zomato reviews and I was not disappointed
• I took for my family with me and the staff were very polite and accomodating with us as we wanted a private area
• They have used the space best way possible
• We selected a few dishes and when it came to the end were given vread to wipe down the sauce
• Only downside was that we could have desert as we had other plans at home for something sweet
• Menu was slightly overwhelming with soooo many dishes to choose from
• The pollo funghi was not in a rich
• The avocado salad and the classic were well presented and tasted fresh
• We opted to give dessert a miss as our food was very filling
• The waiter/ manager explained to us that he has checked and has found out that there are differences of opinions on this but I am pretty certain that most muslims
• I must say that the waiter/manager was very apologetic (to his credit) &
• I am aware that some supermarkets stock vegetarian parmesan substitute cheeses so it may be an idea to ensure that all doubt is removed with the 'halal ness' of your ingrediants
• Most of the meat dishes were on the raw side and smelly
• Much cheaper than other places and the restaurant is HMC certified
• Refillable soft drinks were a nice touch
• Overall I'd go back again because it was worth it and the little girl with the red scarf gave the place character
• The service was very good although there was only one other party in there at the time so to be fair they had ample time to attend to any needs or requests we had
• I recommend the meatballs with spaghetti bolognese
• The carbonara was served with beef rather than the usual ham
• The idea of a halal Italian was somewhat an ideal place to go to eat at
• I feel like they are missing a trick
• My visit to Amina D'Italia was thanks to Zomato who provided me with a gift card to dine here
• For starters we were recommended to try a platter of assorted starters
• In fact there were loads of different small pieces of party finger food
• The problem I had was that the selection was comparable to a tray of party nibbles that you can buy ready to pop in the oven from Iceland
• The selection was wide and to be honest we were rather full on just the starters
• The good point was that I think it was value for money based on the quantity of food
• At this point my friend and I were full and after this average selection of food were reluctant to order more
• The selling point of coming here was the Halal factor
• Lasagna and spag bol with meat balls
• Italian food is maybe not the most obvious cuisine of choice to excite my taste buds
• Both dishes were underwhelming and disappointing
• Due to the fact that Anima D'Italia is from what I saw a Bangladeshi run restaurant with Bangladeshi staff
• The lack of patrons at the time I visited was a clear Indication of quality of food of and their popularity
• Me and my friend were actually a little sad that the place was so empty
• After comparing notes with other friends who have visited the views are ones that echo mine
• I liked this restaurant as it was cosy and the food was at good price however
• Second time I visited Anima D'italia and I was not let down
• The chocolate explosion was very nice and cannot think of any faults
• Chocolate was intense and the cake was soft and gooey on the inside
• Anima D'italia (Stepney) is worth a try as the only halal Italian place for miles
• Italian food is something which people eat with great expectations and this was a very dissapointing experience
• I must however add that the decor was interesting with a rustic feeling but the food was not up to the mark
• Me and my friend ordered mozarella sticks which we are pretty sure not fresh but as we felt the sticks were not evenly warm
• In general the food was overpriced and certainly no way Italian
• Very dissapointing however the staff are extremely well mannered
• The pastas are better than the pizzas
• His reasoning is that I ate most of it already and that sometimes pieces of plastic can fall into the food from the kitchen
• We always go for pasta dishes and the portion sizes are very generous
• The service is great as the host and owners always have lovely manners and make time to speak to you
