Cattle Grid (Balham)

• Cattle Grid has got to be the best place I've been to for ribs
• The restaurant is quite dark inside
• The staff are friendly and are always close by incase you need anything
• Is that it can feel a bit crowded when its busy because the table and chairs are quite close together
• Due to the small but busy environment of the restaurant i recommend booking a table in advance to ensure you are able to get a table on the night
• Hard to miss it with the plastic life sized cow in front
• The babyback ribs are always cooked perfectly with just the right amount of bbq sauce or sometimes their special mix
• The ribs here are incredible
• The handcut fries are also pretty good
• My latest burger visit was to try Cattle Grid in Balham
• A steakhouse with five locations in the UK with Battersea
• Came here for lunch with a friend after hearing many good things about Cattle Grid (Balham) from other friends
• The front windows were open as it's summer so we sat near the street and gained from having a nice afternoon breeze
• Starters we had the Buffalo wings which had a delicious sauce and were enough for two people to share
• I don't normally like BBQ flavor but I felt this was good enough for us to continue rather than ask for different ribs
• I reckon that the ribs have BBQ sauce with piri piri added on top
• The service was good and the location next to the train station is excellent
• Usually it was pretty good
