Green's Steakhouse Bar & Grill (Southgate)

• Visited this local restaurant with some friends who had visited here once or twice before
• I decided to go for the fillet steak which comes with steak house chips
• I asked for a medium steak and just clarified that we both had the sane idea as to what medium should be (pink in the middle with no oozing blood)
• Was cooked exactly how I liked it and had very full bodies round flavour even before I smothered it with my red wine sauce
• The garlic and roasted baby tomatoes which were still in the vine were a beautiful accompaniment
• My thoughts on the chips were that they were not chips
• They were extremely chunky and were almost half a potato
• I had taken a couple if mouthfuls of salad and in both occurrences found a gritty substance and made me think these leaves were not washed so I attempted no longer to finish my plate
• Mango and raspberry and I quickly realised that the sorbet was apportioned and jarred ahead of time and stored in freezer all ready to serve
• This is not to say that the flavours of the sorbet were not good because they were it was just too cold for me
• The restaurant was packed (Saturday night) so I definitely advise to book in advance
• The restaurant serves great food but the service is a hit and miss
• It was supposed to come with chili sauce but it came with melted cheese instead
• The restaurant is only up the road from where we live and we are always keen to support local restaurant
• I had the sirloin steak which was cooked to absolute perfection tender and juicy and my boyfriend had the XO burger which had to be the biggest
• Presentation and of course the food was spot on and I will definitely be going back
• Got absolutely blown away with their steaks
• Tender and juicy one of the best steaks I have ever eaten in my life
• Hang your heads in shame if you call yourself a steakhouse and cannot cook meat in line with your customer's orders and you main product
• Green's Steakhouse Bar & Grill (Southgate) is consistently bad and at £
• 29 for a rib eye is dreadful value
