Boulevard Brasserie (Covent Garden)

• Menu is typically french and the set menu is normally a good way to go at these places
• Waiters are really friendly and will have a bit of banter if you are in the mood
• When we went it was my girlfriends birthday and in the interest of getting a freebie i made sure to mention this
• Then to top it all off the brought the dessert out complete with candles and 3 operatic waiters singing happy birthday
• Boulevard Brasserie (Covent Garden) doesn't jump out as a place 'you must go' but if you are in the area and can get a del online then its worth a visit
• The set meal with glass of kir royal made us feel like we were really celebrating
• Lovely window seat and excellent wine collection with authentic French food made the evening very romantic and special
• Way to descrie this restaurant is as a better version of Cafe Rouge
• A couple of positives are the excellent array of specials and also their fantastic seafood pasta
• A criticism though is over the atmospher
• All these captivating acts and actions tear your attention away from what is happening inside the rigid establishments around Covent Garden
• Boulevard Brasserie is very easy to miss
• Not to mention that there are a lot of other competing restaurants in the area
• Tourists here are not looking for a fantastic gastronomic meal
• Boulevard is furnished with a modern art deco look
• Boulevard's menu is based on French cuisine
• 500ml and a bottle are all at very reasonable price
• DOM Perignon Brut Vintage is at offer for GBP 150.00
• He was absent most of the time leaving us to our own leisure but ensures that he is there when you need him
• Boulevard Brasserie although is not a gastronomic experience but it is the perfect example for a simple and contented meal
• Palm court Brasserie is also part of the Boulevard Brasserie
• Served with a chutney that was nice but not quite tangy enough for me
• It was a smallish starter portion but I was trying hard to taste the brandy
• The green beans were done well to the crunch
• The thing I loved most about Boulevard Brasserie (Covent Garden) was how much it resembles the essence of a Parisian style Cafe
• I went here for dinner on a Saturday night and was given a lovely table in a cosy corner
• The restaurant was not too busy
• The French influence means this is definitely a place worthy of bringing a date
• Took a little longer to arrive than most restaurants but it was well worth the wait
• I wish I went with a significant other instead of going by myself
• The staffs were friendly and quick
• The food was amazing and the severs were so caring and sweet
• Decided to venture here after the theatre with an Open Table deal for 3 courses and a kir royal for £
• Gnocchi and salmon and desserts were chocolate tart
• It was a late Monday night with all surrounding restaurants closed around 22
• 30 after the show except for the Boulevard Cafe and its welcoming warmth with its kitchen still open to 23
• As the lighting was dim I could not get any pictures so suffice to describe the meals
• My friend had the plaice which was perfectly cooked with the accompanying vegetables well laid out
• I had the protein quinoa salad which was delicious as well
• With the owner even coming out to apologize to another patron for the trout they had that was not spring trout but sea trout
