Bentley's Oyster & Champagne Bar (Mayfair)

• This restaurant is situated on one of my favourite streets
• S a slightly quieter lane off of Regent Street that is lined with restaurants
• S absolutely beautiful because the pavements are boiling over with terrace tables
• We were greeted by a man and a piano (I always think this is a nice touch)
• The vibe in the grill was a little bit different
• It was served with both plain and herb butter
• The lady had to pre warn my dad that it was left in the barrel for months and that it had a &ldquo
• I had a little sip and it was beautifully smooth and rich
• When the started came I thought I was going to be going hungry that night
• The portion sizes were a little on the smaller side
• Once I got going with the bursting beetroot flavours
• The steak was topped with green pesto and fried sweet onion
• T actually eat much of this as I felt it was just too over powering for my pallet

• The one that stuck out to me the most was the oysters
• They said it was the best oysters they&rsquo
• I went there on a late evening with my mother who was visiting me in London and really wanted me to try Bentley's Oyster & Champagne Bar (Mayfair) that she said was fantastic
• We decided to sit at the bar and I think it was a great decision because the bartender at the time
• His young italian assistant were really great hosts
• We started out with oysters and champagne and tried a few verities of the oyster and really were delighted with them
• I recall eating a delicious plate of fish in a cream and mushroom sauce that was really spectacular
• We drank white wine throughout the entire meal and finished with two desserts of the day that where really good as well
• If you want to have shellfish in particular this centrally located restaurant is the place to go
• They have a nice upstairs section but the downstairs is also atmospheric with a bar on one side and a series of booths
• The seafood salad is a lovely choice for an hors d'oeuvres as well full of fresh crab and tiny shrimp in a prawn cocktail glass
• We were sat down in the bar as it was a pre theatre meal
• Oysters the Loch Ryan was an absolute treat
• My boyfriend had scallops with pork belly which was one of the specials and I had langoustine
• Wonderful food in a beautiful setting with romantic but not over the top cliche ambience
• The service is really great
• We went to Bentley's for oysters (fantastic as always) and were treated to so much more absolutely delighted with the outstanding service we received tonight at Bentley's
• Been here tonight for a dine out with my friend from London
• Nice cosy outlet with an extraordinarily friendly staff
• The reception guy was very helpful
• As I had it almost after 9 yrs when I was in Georgetown Guyana
• Amazingly fried with fluffy outings and nice crispy crunch
• The taste too was nice and well cooked as I need not have ṭi chew them too long
• Crab cakes were also well fried and crispy
• Potato mesh layer wad well baked with right texture
• We wanted to try one of the best rated seafood restaurants listed on Zamato
• The Zamato profile suggests that the expected cost is around £
• 2 drinks and a meal is just shy of £
• As their menu is straight forward
• It was single handedly one of the best dinners we had ever had
• The 28 meals were brought out promptly and cooked to perfection
• Glasses were always full and they were great about accommodating any dietary concerns
• The general manager is a star and I would definitely recommend Bentley's Oyster & Champagne Bar (Mayfair) to any one for a private occasion or just a dinner
