Abeno Too (Covent Garden)

• Abeno Too is Japanese restaurant with a twist the dinner table has a large cooking plate in the center and the chef prepares the food right in front of you on the table
• By far one of the best Japanese I have ever tested
• Everything is mixed together and grilled until it's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside
• Then topped with Okonomi sauce
• Who doesn't like being armed with their very own food SLICER/SLAPPER
• Watching and waiting for your food cook with hungry eyes
• I just had to curb the hunger pangs with some tempura
• Cosy restaurants with that unassuming vibe
• That pancake is unashamedly filling and insanely tasty
• Like a seriously fluffy pancake with a crispy outer layer and fluffy centre with an explosion of flavour filled with everything you could possibly want
• So yummy and the staff is super friendly
• You can put your belongings inside your seat which is awesome cause I get paranoid if someone takes my stuff
• So when my friend A took me to an okonomiyaki place I thought I was getting a Cornish pasty on the way home
• The prawns were cooked nicely and the garlic and soy sauce was just right
• It went so well with our chosen sake
• A few minutes later the super deluxe sized pancake was ready for garnish
• The bonito flakes were so wispy they looked like fireflies faffing about
• A shared massive pancake and lots of sake later we were full and happy with the meal

• Pork and kimchi pancake and because pork is t what I wanted I asked for it to be replaced with asparagus which made the staff go into a frenzy and tell me that they would have to charge me
• Very disappointing service at this branch with rather very rude staff
• This is one place that is on my list every time I visit London
• What's also quite nice about the place is that it is very cozy and has a community style long table seating with a Teppan
• The seating makes it easy to start a conversation with the person next to you and talk about the food that is getting prepared right in front of you
• Another must try on their menu is their Yaki Udon noodles
• You have to queue 30 mins outside when you were told 10 min and no one from the staff come to tell you differently or apologize
• You finally get in to find out they are the most rude staff ever
