Trip Kitchen Bar (Dalston)

• We started off with some bread and butter
• I especially likes the roasted squash croquettes which were really creamy on the inside
• The braised pigs cheek which was rich and tender
• I ordered the whole sea bream with chive beurre blanc
• The sea bream was really fresh and so smooth that the flesh just fell off the bone really easily
• Anything cooked in lovely rich butter is a winner for me
• Unfortunately I was a bit full that day
• Service was friendly and overall it was a pleasant experience
• It has a special curated menu with a focus on plant based dishes
• Where it does attempt to fill your belly is with the fish and meat specials which change daily
• The cod was coated in sesame seeds and came with what appeared to be stewed cucumber and home made coleslaw
• My lamb was on skewers with peppers and onions
• Both dishes were freshly prepared (open kitchen)
• Trip seems like it's a great place to chill with a drink and snacks you need google to understand (lavash and zatar
• The bar staff are lovely and the place itself is nice and cosy
• Only fault were that I found the drink prices slightly over priced
