Nice ambience along with landscapes of typical indian villages

Suggest you to take a seat near the door rather than the kitchen as you would have to bear with the sounds of the cuttlery bieng tidied in the kitchen

Paneer butter masala was too sweet just tomato sauce with lots of sugar

The general standard of the food when looking at the cost is not good value for money how can Taste Of India (East Ham) be so busy

Well there is only a few other restaurants that serve south Indian food well lets see how long they keep this up

Dere are some drawbacks as well when you are looking for indian food in different countries
-
Probably because I was tired of eating the food cooked by me
-
Garlic nan was thick beyond its limits
-
Most irritating part is you cannot swipe card unless your bill amount is 25 pounds or more where as you can swipe your card even for 1 pound anywhere in this country
-
Told them i wanted to take the leftovers as takeaway and the waiter just came back with a Tupperware then left it on the table

You will adore Taste Of India (East Ham) so much that you won't want to skip a single dish on the menu before you return back to you cooking chores ( there is only so much food for vegetarians and Vegans in England)
-
Try the Malabar parotha and you would appreciate how beautifuly it has been prepared with proper layers and just the right amount of ghee

PS Don't try samosas coz they are a bit oily instead go for medhu vada

Saw people were waiting who were more in numbers

The service was little slow or may be cuz of number of people
-
The chole were good and they helped with another serving when asked without any extra cost
-
The bhature were good as well and enough for one person
-
The above rating is mainly for Chole Bhature and might change once I try more items from their menu
-
Famous food joint of Indian restaurant located at good location in East ham with ample seating area
-
So my recommendation is not to have Mysore masala dosa
-
Well the place does full justice to south Indian cuisine including the quintessential filter coffee which is rare to get in London
-
Yet to taste the north Indian fare which is the plan for my next visit here
-
Would not recommend chola bhatura as it was strictly average
