Sushi Café (Battersea)

• I think I may have found the best sushi buffet in London
• We demolished as much as we could and were all surprised by how tasty most of the things was
• The salmon skin rolls were the best of the brunch
• Often I find in other sushi restaurants the rice is too soggy and under flavoured

• 29 for 2 buffet with unlimited green tea) and so along we went for a Monday eve meal
• When we sat down I realised that the buffet is usually only £
• The decor is cute with Japanese lanterns and pictures around
• The sushi selection was the normal flavours (salmon
• Prawn and clam) but this was limited to 1 portion for each person
• The sushi rolls were generally alright but the rice was bland
• The salmon tasted really fresh but the rest of the fish was a bit lacklustre
• The takoyaki was acceptable
• The chicken skewers were moist but wasn't too keen on the peanut sauce that was on it
• This isn't authentic Japanese food (staff were all Chinese) but is good value for money
• You just have to be careful what you order because the dishes are a bit hit and miss
• Restaurant was packed when I arrived so I thought it may be better than I expected but sashimi wasn't fresh
• Overall food was only average and there weren't a lot of choices to choose from
