  • Grilled pork with Vietnamese vermicelli and for starters we got Vietnamese spring rolls and chicken satay skewers

  • It was really good but the only thing that we can reproach is definitely the service

  • There are few Vietnamese restaurant in the area but this one is definitely the best which explain is good popularity

  • The attitude of the staff doesn't match with the quality of the food

  • The price are really fair according with the dishes

  • There is nothing exceptional about the food but the soups are good and the prices affordable

  • I often go there on the week end because it is a sure value for money and the menu has a good selection that will fit everyone

  • The decoration is horrible but makes it funny

  • If you ask for take away it is ready in 10 minutes

  • The restaurant is a bit out but easy enough to find

  • The servers are very nice and properly manage the large number of people in the restaurant

  • We didn't wait too much and prices were very affordable

  • This is not the place for a romantic dinner but it is perfect for an evening with friends

  • It never ceases to amaze me how close everywhere is in the East

  • Places like Shoreditch and Hoxton are a million miles away

  • Everything else was in good taste

  • Promised so much but was surprisingly bland

  • The deep fried squid was ruthless in its portion size

  • Cellophane noodles were deemed by one of us to have the texture of a certain bodily fluid but hey

  • Everything seemed to be be served with copious amours of lemongrass and veg and there were a myriad of chilli sauces on the table

  • I went to this restaurant with a group of friends

  • There usually is an option with tofu for most of basic dishes

  • I ordered Crispy Noodles with Tofu and I must say it was perfect

  • The noodles were just right

  • The veggies and tofu were just in right proportions

  • The only complaint the dish was just too small

  • Everyone else was satisfied with their dishes and no one complained

  • So it's safe to assume their food really is good and the restaurant is worth checking out

  • It's not the last time I went there there are other dishes I'd like to try

  • This is the best address for Pho on Kingsland Road

  • Their beef broth is the tastiest on the strip

  • Other dishes are consistently good too

  • Service can be brusque and there is usually a queue in the evenings

  • Occasionally there will be a bit of banter with the waiter if he/she's in a good mood

  • Cơm Tấm (grilled pork chop served with broken rice

  • ( dry rice noodles with grilled pork and spring rolls)

  • Beware if you're a vegetarian because I saw them serve chicken to a vegetarian before and she wasn't very happy nor were they apologetic about the mistake

  • I first came to Song Que after a few drinks with a group of friends

  • It was crazy busy and the servers were a bit abrupt

  • I was assured it was the best in the area

  • Once the food came it was exceptional

  • I still had doubts as to whether it was the &ldquo

  • So many choices it can be a little overwhelming and there is nothing worse than getting food envy

  • Shredded pork and spring rolls with rice vermicelli is fantastic &ndash

  • The Crispy duck with pancakes (½

  • Or whole duck) is exceptional

  • Order this to share with your mains or as a starter and you wont regret it

  • Go for the Stir fried chicken with lemongrass

  • Menu is endless and tedious so struggled to pick a few things as there are about 200 different options but nonetheless deffo worth it

  • One of the best vietnamese restaurant in London

  • You might have to queue up for dinner but the food is really good

  • They specialize in it serving big steaming bowls of noodles simmering in a fragrant beefy broth flavoured with lemongrass

  • Ve only tried pho with well done flank steak and slices of rare beef

  • T been brave enough to try it with tripe or tendons

  • Fresh rolls plump with prawns and bursting with fresh mint

  • A bowl of Pho is super cheap at £

  • Tell the waiter how many people are in your group and then wait about 10 minutes for a table

  • You might end up sharing a table with another couple &ndash

  • Song Que is a no frills no fuss place with brusque service BUT IT&rsquo

  • Song Que Cafe is renown for its good value Vietnamese cooking

  • I went for the chicken satay and it was just simply wonderful

  • The spicy and nutty flavour worked in harmony with the smoky grilled chicken meat

  • One of the most exciting things (apart from that whole owning a home thing) was that I was now within easy reach of London&rsquo

  • Don't waste your time with these hipster wannabes

  • Got the varmacelli pork with spring rolls

  • Watched rugby up the road and asked friends who has been in this area to take us to the best Vietnamese on this road famous for Vietnamese (ref

  • Maybe cos it was a wet night the wait was not too bad

  • Maybe she booked ahead but still not the best look for a busy restaurant

  • So no table end seats) so three of us were a bit cramped but we are (kinda) skinny and just happy to get to sit down and eat

  • Our friend recommended the rice vermicelli dishes however I am not a big fan of really skinny rice noodles so I ordered pho with sliced rare steak

  • I would say that the spring rolls here are hands down the best spring rolls I've ever tasted

  • Fat rolls of top notch crispy deep fried pastry filled with minced pork

  • The pho I would say was decent but not amazing which is a bit of a disappointment

  • The rice noodle was perfectly cooked with a firm texture and the rare steak was very yummy

  • My friend ordered the rice vermicelli with spring rolls equally loved the spring rolls but found the vermicelli a bit dry and had the same comment on the green lessness

  • The environment is what you would expect a cheapie Asian restaurant

  • I would say this is borderline cheap eats as my two courses

  • Probably not as it is a bit out of my way

  • If I did I would definitely stuff my face with those spring rolls again

  • The super affordable price with fast services makes it ideal for students

  • I was expecting more for a Vietnamese place that is suggested by time out and normally is packed

  • We ordered a non spicy shrimp noodles that was hot spicy (had to go back

  • ) so then we had to order the duck with rice that was ok

  • At least that was my first reaction when I heard the name

  • Was it the reason that there was a giganormous queue at the front

  • The reason for the throngs of people is rather more mundane

  • My dining companion was having trouble containing her glee at my testing

  • This is the best pho I've ever tasted

  • The side dish made from beef and veggies is good as well

  • Shredded pork with rice vermicelli

  • He wanted the fried crispy noodles with chicken and a side of egg fried rice

  • They served us prawn fried rice by mistake and were ready to change it

  • This resturant is popular and easy to see why

  • I am a lover of pho so Pho ga is all i ordered

  • Only down side is that I feel the side herbs could have been a bigger portion as its for two people
