Sheba (Brick Lane)

• One of the best Indian restaurant I have come across in a long time
• The food was really nice and the staff are really helpful
• The meat was soft and tender and sauce was full of flavour
• Prices are extortionate even with 40% off total bill
• Touters outside are a nuisance as they are continuously shouting across the street for more customers
• These lads are well versed on how to get clients through the door
• In fact throughout our meal we were treated with respect and privacy
• The food was great and the Indian music channel on the telly was enrapturing
• The poppadoms tasted really delicious with a mix of the riata and fresh onion salad
• Most likely because many Indian people are vegetarian
• If all these are good then it's a winner
• The cubes of paneer were lightly grilled with a bouncy texture
• Both dishes were absolutely delicious and really moorish
• The salmon came in manageable chunks and was well cooked
• The salmon was served alongside a sweet and hot sauce which actually worked really nicely with the sweetness from the salmon
• Alex's dish of chicken masala shashlik was a truly memorable dish
• The chicken was lovely and soft and worked really brilliantly with the sauce
• We enjoyed our mains with two side dishes
• Sag paneer is the best Indian dish in the world and this version from Sheba did not dissapoint
• Bold in its flavours with a great mix of textures
• The Bengali pumpkin was a really unique dish and something I have not tried before
• The pumpkin was well spiced and balanced with a sweet and hot finish
• It's packed with local East Londoners and is a really enjoyable experience
• The tables are all smushed together so grab a beer
• The starter took too long to come and they gave the main course with the starters
• T span any further than a mild chicken tikka masala with garlic naan
• My Wife and and I came for Dinner this evening and it was great food and great service as ever
• I had the very hot Bollywood Blast which was exceptional as ever
• K and can honestly say that Sheba is the place I have visited in the U
