Aladin (Brick Lane)

• I think this is the oldest curry house on brick lane and in my opinion one of the best
• Small and there is a lot of hustle and bustle but it is a must visit if you are after that true brick lane experience
• If you haggle with the promo guy outside you will get a good deal too
• The service and the food was great especially the curry
• We were ok with it as we knew that food taste can go either ways
• First we was very slow is attending to us (lack of staff I guess)
• When we brought the bill (Which was not an electronic bill but one written with hand)
• He had overcharged us on every dish (from what was mentioned on the menu card)
• We could see he was trying to play a fast one on us
• Went to this restaurant as the www said it was in the top 5 curry houses in the area
• Restaurant was busy and traditional decor etc
• Had prawn puri to start which was nice followed by tandoori mixed grill and my wife had a lamb dish but the lamb in both these dishes was tough and chewy
• We were 45 people in total and the way they managed the group from drinks order to food order then the delivery of food it was all at a great pace
• Usually in a curry house with such large groups I have seen half the group finish while the other half comes out but here its different and for the better
• One of the best Restaurant in Brick lane that won so many awards they are the expert of Bangladeshi foods and taste
• Don't forget to try their award winning curry it's so tasty and delicious with an affordable price
• The waiters are so friendly and the taste of the curry is mind blowing
• The winning dish chicken tikka blast is one of the best curries i had in years

• The atmosphere of the restaurant is different to the traditional curry houses
• The staffs especially Bodz and Manna were really welcoming and charming which made the vibe really fun
• My partner and I Iove curry and could not find fault with the food at all

• Being BYO (and you get a 20% discount at the off license just a few doors up) the whole thing is really reasonable and I can't wait to come back

• The rice also lacked any basic indication of skill in the kitchen and also made it clear that they are using very low quality ingredients
• Had a lovely dinner last week with excellent custmoer service and fantastic food
• Eat and drink your own drinks with friends down this popular part of east london
