  • Just off a very busy shopping paradise (or hell) of carnaby is Sacred cafe

  • Offers slightly different coffee from the usual Columbian/Guatemalan/Kenyan blends that are seemingly ubiquitous

  • Albeit not the very best in the city

  • Downstairs is a nice retreat with atmospheric lighting and comfy seating

  • Makes a change from most modern cafes with wooden seating with little space to enjoy 15 minutes of escapism

  • One thing London has a number of are street cafes where you can grab a drink with your friends and lazy away for an hour or two

  • There are roughly a dozen or so outdoor tables perfect for people watching with further seats inside

  • The wait staff was friendly and yet also a bit forgetful not bringing Pascaline her drink for a good ten minutes

  • I on the other hand thought my green tea (see photo above) was delightful in its charming little tea pot

  • There was unfortunately nothing exceptional about the place and the only thing I remember is the slow service and overpriced olives

  • Good for a pot of tea and catch up with friends but not where you'll want to grab a drink post work

  • Sacred Cafe is a lovely little venue for a coffee and a catch up with delightful cakes and cookies

  • The coffee is good but if I had one piece of advice for Sacred Cafe

  • It's to start getting down with the foam art trend as our latte and cappuccinos didn't have anything exciting on top

  • The first place in London to offer flat white coffee and it is as good now as it was when they first introduced it

  • Lovely little cafe with a unique vibe to it

  • Sit outside or downstairs because the stools inside will leave you with a back ache

  • Now on this trip across the board the coffee has been much better but sacred is still worth popping into

  • They have a distinct NZ flavour with good coffee and lolly cake in the cabinet and everything is delicious
