  • The mash potatos were so smooth and the gravys was delicious

  • Again the star of the restaurant is the mashed potatoes

  • Worth the visit and with a very reasonable price for a hearty and filling meal

  • We may get carried away with the options here at Maybe It&rsquo

  • S always been the dullest way to eat the Godsend that is potatoes and will forever be my least favourite way of eating them&hellip

  • Then you move on to your choice of sausage (or pie) and finish off with the holy water of all mashes&hellip

  • Ve always been a fan of chicken pies) and eventually went with the following

  • Not before we were moved to the cupboard table as I like to call it

  • S work colleagues decided to join us and as the normal tables are far too small for a party of five

  • Re planning to come here with a larger party just choose to spread the group over two of the normal sized tables as this little space did kind of take away some of the enjoyment of the meal

  • The sausages were packed full of ridiculously high quality meat and had absolutely no bounce to them

  • D much rather a heavy meal with proper ingredients than a lighter

  • It was so flavourful and beautifully put together than I would have happily ordered a bowlful and sat there with a loaf of bread

  • I was organising dinner with a friend and decided on a fresh and healthy Vietnamese restaurant

  • Mother Mash is located on Ganton Street and is a small alley restaurant that specialises in

  • So what goes with the mash I hear you ask

  • Well at Mother Mash they believe that there are 3 steps to heaven

  • The restaurant itself is simplistic with a painted brick wall and white tiles

  • Vegetable and Herb Bangers (vegetarian) and Veggie Gravy (made with seasonal vegetables

  • Mother Mash is also licensed so I enjoyed a bottle of Bulmers cider

  • The service was friendly and swift

  • We were ravenous so were glad our food came so swiftly

  • The mash potato was perfect &ndash

  • Ordering process could be simplified with a write on menu for each person

  • From ordering to the pie being in front of me was only about 5 mins

  • Mind you I was dining alone

  • I decided to chose the butternut squash and goats cheese with a colcanon mash

  • I was impressed with the amount of flavour that they packed in the pie

  • I ordered four take away meals from Mothermash on Saturday 24 December 2016 that were delivered by Deliveroo

  • I was totally embarassed with my friends

  • All of the meals seemed like half portions and they were insipid and lacking flavour

  • I had the Colcannon mash with butternut squash and goats cheese pie and onion gravy

  • 25 for two people which is great value for money

  • Thats pretty much your option with different varieties of them

  • Overall it was a good feed for the price

  • That is pretty much the menu with different choices within

  • We had the colcannon mash with Cumberland sausages and farmers gravy and chicken n garlic sausages with Irish mash (without cabbage) with traditional gravy

  • Even if the menu is very simple

  • Not dry and the gravy was full of flavours

  • It's nothing like the one which I was used to from the bistro gravy granules

  • I can imagine myself tired with shopping/showing friends around and coming here for a heartful plate of lunch

  • The service is super quick

  • Even their music is the same so is their food

  • A unique restaurant where mashed potato is the main dish

  • The sausages are nicely cooked

  • Like many tourists we were after a lunch with that British edge

  • Mother Mash is a venue that celebrates the humble mashed potato

  • S a three step process but your first big decision is what type of mash to go

  • The mashes are made to order

  • Your other choices are for the main (sausage or pie) and one of five gravy options

  • The vegetarian sausages are executed well

  • The gravies are delightfully savoury and there&rsquo

  • Chunky and some awesome flavours (only downer is it might be ordered in)

  • 9.95 the price is reasonable and can understand it being a popular haunt for the work time lunch

  • Good seats with lots of natural lighting inside

  • Woud go again either for quick lunch or with friends to spend a good time

  • A small spot with very classic British dishes

  • The sausage was so British and went well with not too sweet savory gravy
