Long White Cloud (Hoxton)

• Situated on the famous Hackney Road (where all the cool people live now) the Long White Cloud is one of East London&rsquo
• The staff and owners here are incredibly friendly
• The one thing i do love about the Long White Cloud is that it plays host to its very own gallery
• The restaurant is owned and run by two New Zealand ladies
• Sweat and all we were thankfully greeted with a cold glass of delicious sauvignon blanc
• I had the chicken parmigiana pie with mustard mash
• Long White Cloud is a Kiwi owned
• Cum gallery space which serves up interesting brunch type meals such as smoked salmon scrambled eggs and french toast with bacon and banana
• Is the fact that they display local artworks which are also on sale
• Kate Ardern's intriguing 'Into The Wild' paintings were up on the walls
• What still lingers in my mind is their peanut butter and banana smoothie which is so simple but so good
• Both flavours were balanced beautifully
• They've got an evening menu as well with the likes of pies
• I'd love to go back there some time soon to chill in their intimate setting with some French toast and bacon
• Just recently moved to the area and after walking past a few times I decided it was time to actually try it out and stop peering in
• Went on a Sunday afternoon around 12 and it was quite busy but no queue
• Even though there were lots of people and waitresses milling around it did't feel too cramped or stressful
• I had the veggie breakfast which was very nice although I wasn't entirely full afterwards
• The person I was with had a peanut butter smoothie and absolutely loved it
• The cafe is nice and fresh with white walls and wooden tables and chairs
• The two little tables out the front are perfect for making the most of the last remaining sunny days and also for people watching
• Salmon and avocado which was delicious and came on perfectly grilled wholemeal bread
• It cost 4 pound for half a spoonful which was a bit annoying but nevertheless it was tasty
• Unlike a lot of London cafes with their bored
• Too cool waiters the staff here were genuinely friendly and efficient
• The place was quite full and I was happy to find a table after a few minutes
