Red Sun (Marble Arch)

• I went to Red Sun with a large party of 14 guests as part of a leaving do
• Red Sun is a small restaurant so it was a very tight squeeze for us all to fit around the table but we managed to do it with some extra chairs and slight elbow bashing
• I can't even tell you all the food that we had because there was so much of it that I was in a bit of a food daze I do remember though having some peking duck pancakes
• I want to say that it was pork but I'm not too sure to be honest
• There was plenty of sauce and the meals were cooked well
• Its flavours are what steal the show
• We ordered around 4 5 dishes and the bill was not astonishingly high
• Friendly service with a strong menu
• The dining experience here is an absolute delight
• The food here is delicious and appetizing
• The place is also usually filled with Chinese people
• According to me is the true barometer of a good Chinese restaurant
• The chinese food is one difficult cuisine to come about perfectly
• Made it one of the finest food date for us with this pleasurable delight of a food
• This is a small place with very friendly and hospitable staff
• Even though there is very less staff
• They serve from table to table with ease and grace
• The Singapore noodles are a must try
• I was really disappointed as the food served was at times undercooked whereas on other occasions
• We went here as the place was recommended by the staff of the hotel we were staying in
• There are long queues and if you are used to having only authentic Chinese which is extremely expensive
• A few of the dishes which are totally worth trying are the Special fried rice
• The ambiance is also very delightful
• Red Sun (Marble Arch) has some of the best and most authentic Chinese food in the city
• My own experience was impressive
• The ambiance can look pretty crummy at first but the food is always a delight
• The dumplings are specially tasty
• The place is not very spacious so we had to sit with another customer
• Everything we ordered was delectable
• The portions were quite tiny
• The restaurant was recommended to us by a local
• The waiting staff asked us if we were willing to sit downstairs
• We would have enjoyed the food more if we were sitting in a better atmosphere upstairs
• Good place to visit if you are around that area
• What totally surprised me in this restaurant was the super skilled service
• This for a Chinese restaurant is pretty amazing
• I would add the staff was very caring and highly attentive
• The food amazingly was made to our liking
• The restaurant has exteriors that are painted red in color and look quite old
• The staff was unwelcoming towards us as we were not locals
• Made us feel we were at the wrong place
• I found that the food was not as horrible as the reviews have said
• The interiors are not disappointing as they inside is cosy and comfortable
• The portions served are rather generous and one should order judiciously if going in a group
• The staff struggles to communicate if the client is not Chinese so kindly consider that
• This was the worst experience I have had with Chinese cuisine in my twelve years in the city
• I went here with a group of seven other people after reserving a table
• The interiors were horrible and did not seem appropriate
• The place was quite uncomfortable and we were unable to relax
• The service was inefficient and unhelpful
• Red Sun (Marble Arch) is not recommended at all
• When offered the option of allowing the Chef to choose our meal was a welcome change
• The only thing is that one should make their reservations well in advance
• They provided us with some authentic dishes like chicken
• Pork but what they did lack in was organization
• Red Sun (Marble Arch) is surely one time visit and I do hope that they will improve in the service department
• This restaurant is situated on a rather quiet street
• I asked them to recommend a few dishes on offer and was really impressed from their choices
• The atmosphere was fine and relaxed
• They has a set menu and it was reasonably priced
• The portions served were so large that event the six of us weren't able to finish the meal
• The place is rather small and the staff was loud and without etiquette
• The quantity and quality we were served it was a bit over priced
• We've been in London for a week and we were craving something different
• Luckily Red Sun (Marble Arch) was very close to the hotel
• Beef with black bean sauce was excellent and the fried rice very tasty
• We went there for dinner and the place was packed and the hostess said we had a 30 minute wait and reluctantly we had to wait out in the cold
• The place is small and they do have a lower seating level with a couple of tables and it is manned by only a couple of waitresses
