• Yes the food is greasy (I expect to still feel greasy in a couple of days)
• Best of all is the price I'm not sure how much the buffet itself was but we got charged nine quid for it with drinks
• There wasn't much else to complain about either the place was clean and conducive to us having a good time (although they did refuse to serve tap water
• I'm certain is illegal or something)
• My only regret is that it would be way too unhealthy to visit Red Dragon more than once or twice a year
• The first thing that become apparent was how greasy the food was
• I do not eat meat (Not helpful at all in Red Dragon (Whitechapel) as their catering to vegetarians is limited at best)
• My friends informed me all of the meat based dishes he tried were barely warm
• We informed the restaurant of this and this is where things only got worse
• It became very apparent that the staff had limited capability of dealing with customer outside of using the till
• A staff member turned the machines heat to full and then requested that we turn the machine down once the food was hot (ridiculous I am aware as this is totally not my job)
• I explained that he had asked and that I was sorry regardless but instead of having good customer service he remained in a strop
• His friend also approached us and asked what had happened but literally couldn't follow the story and didn't understand what had happened so he was also in a bad mood
• My second visit was a year later and not great but I thought it was a one off
• Naively giving the place another chance was really poor at best
• The worst part of the experience was the service and general hygiene of the place
• I generally give halal food places a higher rating just for having halal food but Red Dragon (Whitechapel) is lucky to be getting 1* from me
• The beef in black bean sauce is very delicious and it's the main thing that always has me going back
• I also really like having the prawns and onion rings with their sweet chilli sauce
• Their noodles are ok and I sometimes have this with the beef in black bean sauce as this goes together very well
