The Plough Bar & Kitchen (Battersea)

• Plenty of space for drinks on an evening with a wide selection of original bitters and lagers
• My personal favourite is a bottle of Brooklyn Lager
• Priced slightly on the high side the food is well cooked and delivers in value
• The Plough is a combination of good food and original drinks but it is slightly over priced for the portions received
• The 'famous' Boston Burger is the absolute nuts
• The beef burger itself is cooked in bacon dripping and is topped with beer soaked onions
• Its certainly debatable as it is pricey but I was immensely satisfied after the meal so I'd say yes
• Service is the wrong side of laid back unfortunately and there were several times during the course of the meal when the waitress was nowhere to be seen
• Open plan venue with an eclectic mix of modern day furniture and a cool vibe
• If you like your beer there are lots of options including craft beers
• My friend ordered the buttermilk pancakes and fell in love with the vanilla cream
• I selected the full breakfast and although I was glad it wasn&rsquo
• The coffee was quite bitter too but maybe I just got a bad cup
• The second time was a lunch affair and I had a very bready burger
• Especially as they were delivered by a lovely waiter who was attentive without being annoying
• The place is full of young families at the weekend enjoying brunch with their babies
• Previously there were no veggie mains and just a few starters or sides
• I got a salad with dirty leaves as in
• I was really excited for the courgette fries and they were tasty but disappointingly limp (for lack of less gross description
• The food is a little overpriced for what it is but the bar and wait staff are all really friendly and the interior is comfortable
• So still a nice place to go with a few friends
