  • It does not feel like you are in the Basque country in this restaurant

  • A hip crowd and the set up/decor is very modern

  • The one thing that annoyed me was the popularity of Pix (Soho) (which is obviously good for them)

  • Seeing how busy Pix (Soho) gets this is totally understandable

  • There is no need for a menu as when you walk in the bar is filled with an array of their cold Pintxos

  • Price wise any Pintxos with a large skewer in them are £

  • The food itself was generally of a good standard

  • The first hot dish we snapped up from the waiter was a chilli chicken kebab with a mint and coriander shot

  • The chicken was very tender

  • The yogurt shot flavoursome but the yogurt was far too intense and could have been a bit sourer

  • Also the dish was not very Spanish

  • Again did not come across as very Spanish in style and the slice of garlic bread was oh so British

  • As the queue at the restaurant we really wanted was out the front door and into the rain

  • We opted for Pix as it was nearby and they could give us a table on short notice

  • There were very few hot plates that made it to the bar and the other choices were mainly cured meat

  • As new hot items come out the lovely staff walk past with the offerings

  • 2.95 which I think is very reasonable

  • S a great evening out and the staff are always fantastic

  • An absolute win in my book and the food was tasty as anything

  • Numerous plates of bite sized snacks were placed around the bar area for you to help yourself to

  • The number of left over skewers was totted up and that was how your bill was worked out

  • The food itself was all delicious and fresh

  • I did feel like the proverbial kid in candy store when faced with rows upon rows of yummy food

  • Pintxos or pinchos are Spanish for &ldquo

  • My favourite was the fried and melty croquette

  • My own qualm is that you do need quite a few bites to be full and at a normal £
