  • Lightly spiced and coupled with a refreshing yoghurt chickpea salsa was delicious

  • My only gripe is that the portion was small

  • The Karahi Gosht was out this world amazing

  • The lamb was tender and flavour some which melted and fell to pieces with the first bite

  • I should be honest that I thought it was slightly over priced

  • The food no doubt is good but yet a little expensive

  • The quantity is too much for one person to finish

  • They play instrumental Hindi music to go well with the ambience and the food

  • It is an ideal place to dine with family and friends

  • I would particularly recommend the chicken tikka and hyderabadi chicken biryani with the correct blend of spices

  • Mala Indian Restaurant (City of London) is a little pricey though as the portions are quite small

  • A lovely place for a relaxed cosy meal with your dear ones

  • The service was slow and orders came at a snails pace

  • The vegetarian thali we ordered was strictly on no share basis

  • The chicken jalfrezi was the best I've tasted

  • The decor is very interesting with untainted brick work and lovely paintings

  • The only downside being that this restaurant is on the expensive side

  • Whether the sun is shining or pouring cats &

  • Also the food is a healthy mix of an authentic Indian restaurant plus home made food

  • Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for good Indian food in Central London with the added benefit of St Katharine's Docks

  • Because it was peak time on Saturday the restaurant was busy

  • We had just a small wait for our table for three and the host was very warm and personable making me feel as if I was a new friend being made if not an old friend being greeted

  • The wait between drinks arriving and us being asked if we were ready to order was one of only downsides with the question being asked some 5 minutes after we had decided

  • The other stumbling block was an omission of poppadums

  • As my friend pointed out he always errs on the side of caution with lamb as sometimes it can be quite tough

  • As the lmb was juicy and tender

  • The mystery of the forgotten poppadums were merely a side effect of the restaurant being bustling

  • Both of which were exceptional

  • Went for the set menu and i was not disappointed

  • The aloo tikki chaat for starters was perfectly spiced and really delicious

  • The butter chicken for mains was simply superb

  • Have to say all the curries we sampled had a wonderful depth of flavour and were perfectly balanced

  • Lovely decor and the tea lights are a lovely touch

  • All in all however the food was of excellent quality and St Katherine's Dock is so beautiful at night

  • The view from window looking at st Katharine docks was absolutely gorgeous

  • The whole area was thronging with tourists and the atmosphere was amazing

  • The food tastes pretty good would not say best in London but would definitely recommend a try

  • If you are visiting the Tower of London this is a great lunch spot

  • The cost is high for the quality and quantity both but it is scene outside what makes it worth

  • Huge establishment with rooms to stay as well

  • Their dining area is sprawling and beautiful

  • We were ushered by the Hotel assistant and were shown our seats

  • It was a nice round table with silver cutlery laid out

  • The thalis were very thoughtfully prepared

  • My favorite was the mutton

  • Been there with family on a sunny weekend near Tower Bridge and found this wonderful joint on Zomato

  • Definitely the best Butter Chicken I've had in London

  • The ambience is nice and the staff is accommodating

  • Dal makhani and butter chicken are a must try

  • One of the best Buffet restaurants I have ever dined in

  • The service was quick and efficient and the staff were very tentative
