St Katherine's docks is absolutely stunning and a place that everyone would enjoy
-
On a sunny evening it really is one of my favourite places to be in London
-
Beer is decent as is the atmosphere
-
Would defo recommend on a Sunday if you have no plans and want to spend the afternoon chilling with some friends
-
The summer with all the sunshine and colourful flowers makes it a lovely sight
-
The atmosphere is loud and cheerful as people wrap up work and get together with friends and colleagues
-
I visited just recently after a day out with my nan looking at the mesmerising poppies at the Tower of London
-
What instantly attracted us to Tavern Bar - The Dickens Inn (City of London) was the Georgian/Victorian look to the Inn
-
What greeted us inside was similar to the outside
-
Our food came in no time at all and was of a good standard
-
What stood out for me and my nan was the more than chocolatey
-
A final word this is a must visit place within St Katharine's Dock which is a great location
-
A nay as far as food is concerned that part is only average
-
The kind of place that offers rustic old school English pub food with a beach harbour feel
-
Away from the busy streets and set along the water with some lovely views
-
Great ambience with some good music makes Tavern Bar - The Dickens Inn (City of London) a good choice for a cosy weekend visit
-
Menu is fairly elaborate and there is a choice for everyone
-
I have to consider that the Rugby cup was on and it was obviosuly very crowded and loud but still for such a big restaurant and in a central location they should be more prepared for it
-
To be sure that along with burgers I could have a vegetarian alternative
-
By the end of the first drink we started to queue to order food and it took us a while so that when it was our turn we needed to order otherwise the kitchen would have closed
-
I wanted a warm meal and not a sandwich so I asked if there was enything else that could be done and I was answered that I should have gone eat upstairs at the grill alone
-
Also that in an extreme situation like this it is not possible to order something upstairs and bring it at the same table
