  • First up was the mussels and that was just sublime

  • Mussels with garlic and white wine is a pretty standard dish but this was one of the best I've had

  • Next up was the roast Sunday chicken which was just exquisite

  • Cooked to perfection and went down well with the Argentinean Malbec

  • The portions were very generous and came with vegetable sides (the sweet carrot dish was unforgettable

  • ) Yorkshire pudding was a cheek touch to add some British flavour

  • Last but not least was the chocolate tart with vanilla

  • The service is just excellent

  • Lovely little French bistro with outdoor seating
