Le Pot Lyonnais (Battersea)

• Its a Saturday afternoon and while the missus is away a friend and I meet here for a catch up
• The service is typically French
• The location is very chillaxed
• On this occasion this is what I find my friend doing when I arrive
• I tried to order an Oringina but all I got was a grunt of a "
• I end up having an orange juice and lemonade though I would advise not doing this as I think the orange juice is too good to be mixed with bad lemonade
• I ate a burger here a few years ago and was distinctly overwhelmed
• Le Pot Lyonnais (Battersea) is 2 mins from my flat and I only just went back today due to being off work
• It being so close and dog friendly (or so I thought I had my 5kg calm dog with me) and not feeling like cooking lunch myself
• I hated to give this guy business after an old lodger and good friend of mine worked for him for 1 month about 1.5 years ago and was never paid a penny for it
• Obviously this is not only illegal
• It was also a lie because she stayed longer than 2 weeks and was never paid for anything
• A colleague of her's ended up getting his only because he argued with the owner and demanded to be paid or he would report him
• After asking for a burger without mayonaisse which came with mayonaisse
• He was swearing at me and followed me out the door and down the pavement shouting so that I had to tell him that he was going to get a kick in the balls if he didn't step away from me
• He told me that was fine and to never come back
• The order for which was taken only 20 minutes after we were seated
• Despite these issues the service charge was levied on my bill
• The surprising bit is if the food arrives
• The staff was rude and the service was terrible to say the least
• I had steak which was undercooked and when I approached the higher authorities regarding this matter
• They just verbally attacked me and I was taken aback by their behaviour
• The lunch here was quite good and I was satisfied
• The only disappointing bit was that the lemon tart seemed old
• The manager is of an acquired taste as others have said and he is quick
• Our suggestions were incorporated without any problems
• If we consider the value for money it seems quite expensive but the place is for sure worth the visit
• The staff as well as the manager was extremely friendly and hospitable
• Paid a quick visit to Le Pot Lyonnais (Battersea) and found out that the guy running the place is very rude and ignorant
• The service is as poor as it could get
• The staff member who was serving us did not quite well understand and speak English and thus had to be replaced
• The manager was serving us
• The manager was extremely rude and impolite and not at all hospitable
• Le Pot Lyonnais (Battersea) is way below average but has still managed to stay above the waters for too long now
• The food is mediocre with service even worse
• The manager is obnoxious and the place is very dull
• I go here often because it is very near to my house and it is now very convenient
• The food at Le Pot Lyonnais (Battersea) was quite good and enjoyable
• The service was poor with a grumpy Maitre D
• An important point to make note of is that most of the drinks are served as doubles and this wasn't cleared out until we questioned it on the bill
• This restaurant serves really good breakfast though lunch and dinner are pretty average
• The variety on offer is also quite good with a lot of healthy options to choose from
• The service may be a bit lacking though the authorities are taking steps to correct it
• The service is usually good
• Could be a bit slow when the place is packed with people
• The staff is mostly French and are is quite friendly
• The atmosphere is livley with great music
• I recently visited this french place and was quite impressed with it
• The ambience was pretty decent
• The ambience is just right if you want to have a small party
• The staff was quarrelling with each other at it really didn't make for an enjoyable dining experience
• The prices are not justifiable for such a bad experience
• At first Le Pot Lyonnais (Battersea) looked nice as it reminded me of French cheap restaurant we can find everywhere in the French countryside but that is the only good point about that place
• The owner (Patrick) is homophobic and racist and he took the piss out of a fat person in front of all the customers
• The only advice I can give is to avoid the place and file a complaint to the council so they can shut it down
