La Figa (Limehouse)

• La Figa (Limehouse) is quite close to my home
• The wine selection is pretty vast
• The pasta is one of the best I had in London
• Some reason they were quite particular on what table we can sit
• Even though the whole place was literally empty
• Though La Figa (Limehouse) is right next door to my house
• We tried the Garlic Pizza and Bruschetta for appetizers both were very good especially the garlic pizza that had strong taste of garlic that I quite enjoyed
• I tried the sea food linguini pasta and the sea food was very fresh though I wasn't too happy with the pasta sauce
• Be advised that the pasta portions are massive and can be easily shared between two people
• Good Italian place to try with friends on a Sunday night
• Great food and service with complimentary prosecco to wrap up the good dining experience
• Mozzarella in Carrozza and the Bruschetta are personal favourites
• Spaghetti and Meatballs and Spaghetti Carbonara are great mains
• I had the crab meat ravioli and it was incredible
• Apparently the restaurant graphic is supposed to depict this word
• Their sister restaurant is Il Bordello though
• The pastas and meat dishes were just so so
• The owner was there and I noticed that he went to each table personally to greet the clients which I thought was a very nice touch
• The pastas (ravioli) honestly felt like they were frozen and thawed before service
• Overall a nice time with friends with some great pizza
• (The portions are huge in the mains
• ) Loved the texture of the pasta and needless to say the lobster and scallops were real good too
• A local italian with BIG portions
• It is slightly more than Carluccios but I think it is also a little bit better in taste
• A nice and friendly atmosphere for a local meal if you are in the area
• I thought it would be best to visit one of my neighbourhood restaurants
• Minimizing my contact with other people
• Easily the best Italian restaurant in Limehouse
• The portions are generous and the staff so very Italian
