Kyoto (Soho)

• Very happy with my evening at Kyoto
• I have never questioned the bill before as I have always been with friends and not paid that much attention
• I dined there alone recently and was charged £
• Visited last night for a friend's birthday and we had a booking so we were shown straight to our table
• As the restaurant was quite busy
• 7.80) with a friend and this was perfect for a starter and very nice
• Filled the room with noise making conversation quite strained
• As a main I chose Ishiyaki Bibimbob and the waitress informed me well about the dish (as I was a bit oblivious)
• Served up in a hot stone pot the meal was very tasty and nicely customisable with a side dish of spicy sauce (not sure of the exact name)
• One minor grievance is there could've been more meat in the dish
• They were a bit disappointed with these as they felt they were too wet (juices not sauce) and they found the dishes a bit on the sweet side which made them quite sickly
• Saying this however the reason we visited this restaurant was due to the birthday girl's love of the katsudon and she once again really enjoyed it
• On the whole the experience was nice and the food was tasty
• If you're looking to enjoy a nice Japanese meal with some of the best sushi in pond
• Followed by a round of drinks then kyoto is the place to be
• Their stunning bar only adds to the decor which is already immaculate
• The staff is incredibly friendly and assists you with whatever you need
• I had some of Asahi's dishes and the bill that came was quite reasonable
• Their skewers are well done
• The sushi here was delicious and very fresh
• The best part is that they prepares it in front of us
• So don't plan going here with family or on a date
• Going here with friends is a good option
• The food here is reasonably priced and good quality
• The food was divine and the meat used was exceptionally tasty
• The sauce too was great and made for a great combo
• The food came with some amazing salad and some Tempura
• When you get the rolls which are so tiny and much smaller than you'd expect
• You realise why it is such a misconception
• A though they were obliging me with the service
• It is priced very well and one can leave the place satisfied with the portions and the cheapness of the bill
• Given that the salmon and tuna at Kyoto (Soho) is extremely refreshing and healthy
• The ingredients were fresh and the vegetables were exotic
• The portions are generous although at an expensive price
• The restaurant is small and has a limited seating space but it is the food that you go there
• It is definitely good in standards and is conveniently located
• The portion sizes are not very consistent but the quality of food is absolutely supreme
• I would recommend trying the bento box which is pretty good on value
• The food here is great and they have numerous menu sets
• The service was excellent and the staff rather friendly and helpful
• The only problematic bit is that isn't very cheap
• Kyoto (Soho) is a combination of delicious and standard
• The service is disappointing and the staff is inefficient
• The set up is casual and not always busy with people
• Everything we ordered was fantastic and not at all disappointing
• The ambiance is very pleasing
• With amazing decor which is read and pine cool in color
• Kyoto (Soho) was a lip smacking choice for a Japanese meal i was craving
• The place is tiny and the tables are placed rather closely
• I have heard of the chicken katsu curry which is sumptuous however I still tried the fish with rice
• It was a fresh dish with a punch of strong flavours
• Kyoto (Soho) was an absolute delight for me
• I ordered the chicken katsu with udon noodles
• The ambiance is comfortable and very arty
• We went ahead with ordering two rice dishes
• The service was also commendable
• The servers were very polite and efficient
• The meal was very reasonably priced and left us being brimful with satisfying portions
• The exterior of Kyoto (Soho) is not the most exciting and appealing
• The interiors however are well done up and has a welcoming vibe to it
• The service here is impeccable and very efficient
• The best bit is the helpful nature of the staff and their willingness to inform you about what to order
• I went here last night and had soft shell crab and to my surprise they were really very amazing
• This is a pretty good option for Japanese food with a humble surrounding
• The food is quite good and I feel that the choices are varied as well
• My initial picks were fish and sushi and then I now I seldom go for beef
• Chicken and pork which are quite decent as well
• On the whole Kyoto (Soho) is a decent experience and being a frequent visitor
• I recently tried this Japanese place in Soho and was quite impressed with it
• The service was pretty poor as the staff seemed to be quite disorganized
• Cooked to perfection with wonderful flavours to it
• Else everything else was quite good
• 16.50) was superb with a good array of Sushi
• 25/head per person it was no more expensive than other high street sushi restaurants but the food was in another class
• A host of native diners reassured us that this was authentic Sushi that has not been tempted to charge more because of it
• Very happy about the standard of food here along with the reasonable prices
• The salmon sashimi salad was fresh and the dressing was delicious I would definitely recommend this
