Indoors is quite nice as well with a huge seating capaciy
-
The food quality has gone down over the past couple of months but it is still decent though not as flavorful now
-
They serve some freshly baked bread with olives and a yummy dip as soon as one arrives and this is on the house
-
Absolutely love mucver for its soft gooey interior and is a must try
-
We usually stuff ourselves with the starters
-
The middle eastern pastry based desserts are quite good to there is one with walnuts (I think it is called Tel Kadayif) which tastes very similar to traditional Indian sweets
-
On a summer's day it is very nice indeed to sit at one of Hazev's outdoor tables with the breeze blowing back towards the Millennium Dome
-
They have made an effort to soften Canary Wharf's glassiness with potted trees and plenty of baskets of plants
-
Inside the decor is modern but comfortable
-
The cuisine here is also worth coming back
-
The kuzu tandir (shredded lamb) and the soganli dana kavurma (sirloin) are all worth a try
-
Or for something lighter there are some very good share platters
-
While the waiters are quite relaxed and have a tendency to leave you waiting a little too long when you first arrive and when you're done
-
I had very high expectations with this restaurant
-
The first visit was not that impressive
-
The menu spread is also quite extensive
-
Quantity was ok but the taste is where some of the dishes were lacking
-
The speciality kebabs were not to my liking
-
Go with realistic expectations and you are in for a pleasant surprise
-
The starters were all good and fresh
-
There are a lot of eating joints in Canary Wharf but I if I were to recommend a Mediterranean Lebanese restaurant
-
The ambiance lights you up and gives you a feeling that you are having a proper dinner and not just hummus &
-
A good option will be to go with the fixed 3 course menu which is for 2 people
-
I have never had to wait for too long to be seated even when I visited it with large group of friends
-
The ambiance is affable but the staff seems to be indifferent a few warm smiles and greetings would have made that little difference
-
Hellim and icli kofte are some of the recommended starters
-
Mantar a vegetarian main dish with rice is a must try for those who love mushrooms
-
A good place for a large group combined with good food and service
-
Hazev is located in a part of town which is full of good restaurants
-
Portions of the dishes were quite generous
-
The lamb moussaka was perhaps the only disappointment
-
Their assorted vegetarian meze platter is also worth trying
-
Dessert the baklawa is a must have
-
The staff here is competent however they may not appear very friendly
-
The reason could be that most of them do not have a good command over the Queen's language but on the flip side their pronunciation of the dishes on the menu was much better than mine
-
That's not to say it was run of the mill the atmosphere and decor were all at a high enough standard to give the place a certain quality you wouldn't find in its sister restaurants
-
I made an reservation for 12 people with 90mins notice which was dead easy
-
The location is right by the river and decor is nice and romantic
-
All my impressions of Turkish food are formed by Hazev grilled meats
-
The service is wonderful here
-
Large tables have eaten here with 10 people and it's always very well managed
-
The restaurant itself is pretty large
-
The portions were absolutely tiny
-
30 service charge that we refused to pay but were told by another rude member of staff with a ponytail that we had to pay it because they had brought the cake out
-
The second part is a fine dining area with very reasonable set menu and the third part is a bar
-
The set menu is definitely worth going for and the deli has some nice mezze and bread
-
Probably because there are not that many restaurants around South Quay
-
Halloumi which are by and large very mediocre
-
Most of the dishes were unavailable at the weekend
-
It has a unique and lovely atmosphere inside with great decorations that makes you feel like you're in Turkey
-
The waiter was very helpful and always made sure everything was clear
-
The food was great and without a doubt one of the best in town for Mediterranean meals
-
My experience with Hazev was a bit loopy but for personal reasons
-
The waiters seemed to have an issue with a huge number of guests
-
The menu of Hazev Restaurant (Canary Wharf) is wide and offers a lot of options
-
Tables are very generously spaced (rare in London) and the noise level was very comfortable
-
Portions are big enough to make you feel full with just two courses
-
I suggest it if you are looking for an elegant place away from the hustle and bustle of the city center
-
Especially that I am not very familiar with Turkish food
-
The restaurant is very chic and classy
-
The service is impeccable
-
Their menu is very varied
-
Perfectly located with a good scenic view of canary wharf with nice ambience
-
First thing I noticed was a beautiful restaurant just by the water
-
I also felt the price was very good considering how nice Hazev Restaurant (Canary Wharf) was and the location
-
The staff seemed a bit tired but considering how early in the day it was we can let them off as they still offered excellent service
-
Hazev Restaurant (Canary Wharf) is always value for money when one is looking for a yummy Turkish meal
-
The hospitality and luxurious service received at Hazev Restaurant (Canary Wharf) was over the top and did take me by surprise
-
What will make me keep going back to Hazev Restaurant (Canary Wharf) is its convenient location
-
It is definitely the best place to eat around in the neighbourhood Though mostly crowded with people
-
The seating here is ornate and that's what makes it more interesting
-
Hazev Restaurant (Canary Wharf) is a Turkish restaurant which will offer you with good customer service
-
Not great but that is going to be good enough
-
The food was absolutely mouth watering and the service was impeccable
-
The food does not taste bad here but the portion sizes and the prices are ridiculous
-
The portion sizes are tiny whereas the prices are star shooting
-
The place from the appearance looked liked a great place to check out but unfortunately there are some serious concerns regarding the quality of food there
-
In general the dishes tasted pretty nice but we were shocked to find chewing gum in one of our dish
-
All this was even reported to the staff but no action was taken to right the wrong
-
I visited Hazev Restaurant (Canary Wharf) a week ago with some friends and realized that it was a bad call and we had a horrible experience
-
The food her was pretty good and quite reasonably priced
-
The waitress was annoying enough to try and remove the bowl I was eating from
-
Hazev Restaurant (Canary Wharf) is somewhere in the middle
-
The service was average and the ambiance might not be according to everyone's liking given that it has club feel to it
-
The food was cooked with proper care and tasty
-
We went ahead with ordering 1 hot and cold starter and 1 main dish for each of us
-
The atmosphere is very pleasant and also romantic
-
The servers are friendly and very polite
-
The food here is also very reasonably priced
-
Went here for my birthday and was a little disappointed
-
The food and the service were not up the mark too
-
Unacceptable is my response to Hazev Restaurant (Canary Wharf)
-
One of the staff member was yelling at us for smoking at an outdoor table when clearly another waiter had placed the ashtray on our table
-
Also the restrooms are extremely dirty
-
I came here on my birthday and I was very much delighted because the service that these guys provided me was amazing
-
The quality of the food was amazing I had Chicken kofta and it was amazing
-
I will be coming to Hazev Restaurant (Canary Wharf) again to try other dishes which were on the menu
-
Must say it was a good decision to stop by here
-
At that hour of the day too the place was spic and span
-
The service was really quick too
-
I enjoyed Hazev Restaurant (Canary Wharf) not because of the fact that the service was good here or the food was excellent or ambiance was crazy
-
It was only because I had a good company with me so we can enjoy anywhere
-
The service was good but the guys were not well trained
-
They were on the other hand trying their best to keep us happy
-
They have some good veggie choices here so if you are in this area and you have a good company the you surely should visit Hazev Restaurant (Canary Wharf)
-
The quality of food was average whereas the dÃ
-
The atmosphere was lively and the service was spot on
-
The portions served were quite small
-
I would prefer other restaurants who serve large portions and the prices that are charged for them are in a reasonable range
-
Hazev's Deli is all the way in South Quay
-
The most famous is a Turkish meze with the option of picking a mix of three different selections of fresh home baked bread
-
The place has recently opened in the neighborhood is already quite popular
-
The service is swift and upon sitting
-
You are presented with a complimentary pita bread with hummus sauce and 8 olives
-
The drinks are also superb
-
The lamb dish was the star of the evening
-
Visited Hazev Restaurant (Canary Wharf) after hearing raving reviews from all around and was disappointed in food slightly
-
Hazev Restaurant (Canary Wharf) has both indoor and outdoor seating along with the bar from which you get a very good view of wharf area
-
We went for the fixed menu which consisted of starters which were mostly Turkish
-
We ordered lamb and chicken which were a big disappointment
-
Service was friendly and they explained about the dishes properly but they were really slow in getting our meals to our tables
-
Hazev Restaurant (Canary Wharf) offers average food combined with a below average service
-
The service was awfully slow and it really put us off and when the food finally arrived it tasted just okay and nothing worth the wait
-
The quantity is quite less but prices are quite high which added to our disappointment
-
I would not come back here again as I feel there are better options than this one
-
I recently visited Hazev Restaurant (Canary Wharf) with friends and was quite a decent experience
-
Especially the chick peas which were delicious and the desserts are amazing as well
-
The ambience is quite decent and this can be a decent pick for a nice chat or to catch up with friends
-
All in all it is a fine place and would like to come back again to try more things here
-
It is so well known that it is sometimes impossible to find a table on a weekday evening
-
Weekend lunchtimes are a different story
-
Tavuk shish (chicken skewer) with a nice hot sauce on the side
-
The service here is always friendly
-
Even though the place was fairly empty on Sunday
-
We walked in and were promptly seated
-
Mains my heart was firmly set on my beloved moussaka
-
A plate filled with layers of goodness
-
Potato slices with gooey cheese sauce
-
S chicken curry was the best meal I could receive as nothing can beat that
-
Now that my freedom is back and due to the fact that I missed my birthday celebrations last week because of exams
-
I stopped in at Hazev on my way to a show with the other half and was pleasantly surprised
-
Because we were dressed up for the show they led us over to the fancier side of the restaurant where we were the only customers
-
The food is halal and was pretty good
-
The management decided to argue with me and talk over me
-
The falafel was good while the rest of the food was alright
-
The service is not that great and they take their turn win sweet time to even greet and show you a seat
-
The location is very nice beside the river
-
The spread of mixed mezzes to start was quite nice
-
My chicken shish main was a little dry
-
It's a large good looking space with a nice view
-
When am a vegetarian and I tried the Vegetarian Moussaka that comes with layers of Aubergine
-
Service is relatively slow but the staff seem friendly with a an accent and were kind enough to check how my vegetarian meal was too
-
The shish kebab red pepper was tasty and not at all like a vegetarian dish
-
My mains I was very impressed with the hummus with lamb
-
More casual restaurant portion which is perfect for some evening snack or lunch
-
The quiches are absolutely great
-
Even their salads are a perfect serve for some healthy lunch
-
The other portion is for a little formal dinner
-
The bar area is pretty chilled
-
The kebabs were mouth watering and the hummus and tatziki was fresh and tasty
-
So I had a chicken pasta and it tasted amazing except there was just way too much salt in it that I ended up feeling sick of eating it
-
Spinach cake most likely as it did not look fresh and the pastry was really dry
-
The lunch bar has a good selection that is varied and flavourful
-
I have also had dinner here with work colleagues
-
The setting was just right smart but not formal
-
The setting is cozy and spacious
-
Twice for coffee and once for dinner with a few friends
-
Baklava is one of the best I've ever had
-
It goes perfectly well with a cup of Turkish coffee
-
Their dinner options are rich in taste and have a good portion size
-
Hazev Restaurant (Canary Wharf) is a must try if you happen to be in this area
-
Excellent menu with plenty of veggie options
